Thats fair. I liked the style of content and i wanted to yap at a screen for a bit so i thought this was a nice way and relatively easy way to do it. I wasn’t necessarily trying to “ride a wave” (I was admittedly kind of expecting this video to flop since it’s pretty niche content imo), but you’re right this definitely isn’t the most original thing ever. I’ll keep your comment in mind going forward and try to put my own spin on my content if I take inspiration from someone else. I don’t really want to become ewgf 2.0 (or anyone 2.0 really) and i doubt people want to see that either (after all, if they wanted ewgf videos they would just watch ewgf). Anyways, thanks for the criticism. I do like seeing more critical/negative comments as they help me improve my stuff more than just people fanning my ego.

GF made incin good on purpose because they knew nobody liked it when it was revealed and they needed people to warm up to it when it got in smash there is no reason decidueye and primarina got mid signature abilities and stats but incineroar got INTIMIDATE and finely crafted stats for comp lmao

6:26 Why don't they bring a full team of normal types to not get hit by astral barrage? Are they stupid?
I cant tell if this comment is sarcastic or not but i feel like yapping so I’ll elaborate. Caly-S runs other moves that arnt ghost type. iirc most sets are like. Astral barrage, draining kiss, some psychic stab, and then protect, so making a full team of normal types wouldn’t really counter it effectively especially because Caly-S is typically run with urshifu who runs close combat as a stab option to counter normal types. Also there are also only like,, Two good normal types i can think of off the top of my head (Farigaraf and Ursaluna-B, though theres probably some niche normal types that work too). Well would work in theory making a team to specifically counter one matchup isnt exactly optimal for VGC, and for astral barrage its usually a better idea to have just one normal type for switch ins and a wide gaurd pokemon to negate any spread damage.
Ah, I see, so I should pack wide guard on every mon to counter caly-s while having type diversity, thanks!

Deoxys attack, Kyurem white, Hoopa unbound, Kyogre primal, xurkitree, and some other megas and “final form” (ultra necrozma) are some pokemon with higher SpAtk then Shadow rider. But guess what? Most of these are “balanced” by needing to hold an item (megas and primal) or limited to 1-2 generation(s) (megas and ultra necrozma) or being slow (xurkitree). Calyrex is just allowed to be that ridiculously fast and strong without holding an item, special version of moxie, 120 power spread move with 100% accuracy, and you cant eat berries. Kingambit…. If you’re listening please save us Kingambit 🙏
oh my gosh you're right I forgot about those guys T-T. I think I just looked at the Reg G pokedex and said only Kyu-W based on that. But yeah at least those guys are either frail, special forms limited to a generation/held item, or otherwise miss out on SOMETHING for such a high SpAtk. istg gen 8/9 power creep drives me insane.
Honestly, Caly's speed should be slightly more average than the base horse, but make up for it with HP bulk and a slightly better secondary attack stat. It's still got mid defensive stats, so you can still pummel through its bulk with the right mon, and rocks still melt Caly-I just as much, but now you have a chance to out speed them (even when Caly-I has trick room up). And their moves should probably just be direct EQ clones.
