Walking Around Tokyo (Daitabashi) 代田橋
Daitabashi Station is on the Keio Line, but it also shares a line with the Toei Shinjuku Line, so you can get to business districts like Ichigaya and Jimbocho with just one train ride! There is a shopping street called Okinawa Town, which is lined with restaurants and general stores related to Okinawa. You can enjoy Okinawa's specialty foods and awamori, and it is a popular spot where people from Okinawa and Okinawa lovers come from far away to visit. I lived in Tabata from 1991-1999. It's changed a lot, especially the station which is entirely different, but many things are still the same. I really loved living there. From 01:00~03:00 was my walk home from the station every day. You went right past my old apartment! Thanks!

Such a fantastic place, this is where i stayed during my First ever visit to japan. Everything is in close proximity and the train network goes to all the hot spots. Couldnt recommend a better spot to stay in tokyo

I stayed in Shimoraku for 2 weeks this April at an Airbnb and it was really nice honestly.very calm and relaxing little town. There was a lot of community I'd say. Plenty of barbershops as well. I stayed in an apartment complex next to the pizza hut and I really do miss that area. I'm planning to hopefully move to Japan and maybe get a space there 🙏

Is it connected to asakusa line?
It is not connected to Asakusa Line. You will need to transfer to the Toei Asakusa Line at Gotannda Station.

I stayed at the Pearl hotel there last year. My favorite part was waking up early and going for a quick walk. Seeing the shops open up and children walking to school. It felt so cozy.

曙橋はいいとこ。 新宿まで3分、渋谷まで15分、山手線の内側でアクセスめっちゃいいのにギラギラしすぎてなくて住むのにちょうどいい。街にはオフィス、商店街、住宅街がいろいろ混ざってて、全体的にきれい。もちろん治安よし。おしゃれなお店もあるし気軽に行ける安いお店もある。 あとは都営新宿線は通勤ラッシュもそこまで混まないから満員電車に苦しむ必要も無い。最高の場所。昔住んでたのが懐かしい～
