Glad you like it here, it is beautiful. With the contrast of mountains, desert and way it looks at different times of the day and weather. It’s an off roader’s haven for sure too! That’s one of our go to spots, we’ve been on some neat rides in that area so far and there’s so much more to see. The cool thing it you can basically do like you did, just drive or ride from home.

You didnt put it in service mode to allow the electric motor to retract and allow the piston to retract all the way, you only unplugged it.

Ny Dad had a '73 El Camino when I was little kid. It was a leftover on the showroom floor when he was going in to buy a new, stripped down (straight 6, 3 on the tree, no rear step bumper, AM radio, no A/C etc.) '74 C10. The El Camino was about the same price as the C10, and he always liked the El Camino. Come to find out, it was quite stripped down, too. It was "poop brown", with a black vinyl bench seat, 307 motor, and 3 on the tree, no A/C, AM radio... He still loved that thing, even though I'm convinced they were some of the UGLIEST El Caminos even made! LoL

I been wanting to solid swap my 98 k1500 for a while now it’s my mob truck just use it for mischievous purposes so it sit around till I get o wild hair and take it on missions so perfect to demo front suspension but I can’t bring my self to do it thinking about buying another 94ish maybe 2wd and putting The hole motor manual transmission from a 86 I have it’s a heavy duty with low granny and three speed and see how it comes out and learn form the experience then get in to my 98 anyways came across your videos and wanted to show some love hell yea

I love those year el Camino's and the early ones from 72 and the early fin ones from 59 and up keep it true dont change its front😢

Mad respect. I am very happy to see someone finally doing the ball joint style ford axle. I've bin wanting to SaS my k2500 so frigging badly, I hate I.F.S on these trucks but anyways, shopping axles for this truck is a pain on the budget and right now I'm debating to keep the king pin option but i can find the ball joint setup for alot cheaper. My only concern from what I've bin told is the steering issue. Solutions not many atm... hydro would be nice but more to the budget 😂
