How to start a motor that has been sitting 20 years: step 1: have a dodge
Where is you dipstick location? Some weird reason our dipsticks got taken out and we cant find where is supposed to go.😅
I just got motor mounts for my 94 YJ. The front driveshaft is rubbing pretty good. I looked at aftermarket mounts which they are basically 2 brands and both are crazy expensive. Ended up getting stock replacements. Plans are to swap my 2.5 for a LS 5.3 so the expensive mounts weren’t needed.
Did you change the oil and transfluid?

Whats up man how are those duralast mounts holding up? I got the same ones at autozone but everyone else is saying get the yellow dog ones
But what about the gas tank? Our chinook (75) is sitting six years we dont know if we should start it without replacing the gas tank. Please advise us
Say, where is the fuel pump located? Are there two separate fuel pumps - one for the carbeurator and one for the fuel tank?

@@offroadgarage6426 oh wow that's insane a 318 with a 2bbl carburetor moving a house on wheels holy crap! That thing must've had 4.10 rear end atleast. I wouldn't be surprised if it was 4.56 rear gears!
I like the fender flare trim you did a good job I have a 93 y j with a 350 Chevy 5 sp on 35’s and about seven inches lift they have great resale value

are you talking about the high beam button on the floor
Dimmer switch for the headlights. Switches it from high beams to low.

A fresh battery and fresh gas anything will start or atleast try to lol
Good protection if you did not know. This vintage motor home will not Drive or move and possibly not start with low Trans Fluid. Built that way for Protection. I have the same one practically .

How to you start it with a screw driver? I'm desperate. I bought an RV with a missing key and now i'm broke
I talked to the ignition out and pulled it apart and pulled the pins out of it and that way I could stick a flat tip screwdriver into it and I put it all back together and that's how I did that
These kids got this RV started. I have the same motor in mine, but it doesn't wanna start

@@og_cheif_dre mine took a new battery, a new fuel pump, new fuel lines, a new fuel tank, and plenty of seafoam.

I did not do a oil change

@@offroadgarage6426 I never knew there was a kit to offset the wipers! I hate how mine are in the way on my YJ .
It sounds like your fuel line has air in it have someone turn the key while you hold the Schrader valve down till gas comes out
It turned out it was a fuel pump I replaced it and now it runs good update video coming soon

I have a 1976 dodge sportsman rockwood that i bought without key and unfortunately i can't find a mechanic. Is like noone want to work on It.

Glad to see you go that old baby running. Would you be able to do like a hard start/flooded carburetor video? Just to demonstrate how difficult these old carb vehicles can be? Showing the same camera angle, the carb/engine and you working the gas pedal. Awesome videos dude, keep them coming!
