Why is it so hard to surf the R68A train. How did he get there. Make it go viral.

I definitely remember riding on the GG train as a kid in the 60’s. The old cars had paddle fans, wicker seats and incandescent lightbulbs with a reverse thread so you couldn’t steal them and use it in your home. Great memories. I remember most of the model cars shown here.

The museum is in fact a real subway station, Court St, which is a continuation and terminus of the Fulton St Line’s local tracks. Local trains now switch over to the express tracks before Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts and continue along said tracks. However, it’s possible that the museum’s station will be reverted back to service, since the Second Ave Line may extend south to Brooklyn and connect to the Fulton St Line and continue as its local tracks once Phase 4 is completed. This may also be why it’s called the IND Second Ave Line and not the BMT Second Ave Line, despite currently connecting only to the BMT Broadway Line via the BMT 63rd St Line. Let’s hope the museum doesn’t shut down as part of the line’s extension if it ever happens, it’s a popular tourist attraction!
