Fantastic finds. I recently read and reviewed the two reprints of all of the Doctor Death stories. Waves of Madness is my favorite Doctor Death story.

I have very similar copies of issues 7 to 11. They were bound individually in Manilla folders, I guess for protection. Great condition on yours!

I thought I was lucky to find issues of Victor from the 1980's in this condition!

The Aldine company often reprinted US Dime Novels in the UK, some of these stories have obvious American themes, though others look British. I know some other Penny Dreadful publishers would re-edit American stories to "sound" British, but I think that mostly went on earlier in the 19th century, around the 1830's and 40's, whereas Aldine got big in the 80's

I never knew American pulps were that thick, though I suppose they were monthly rather than weekly, like Brtain's story papers.
