Can you post up more Hometime videos with Dean and Robin that's if you have any thank you
Unwatchable with that buzzing.
Favorite all time comedy.
Beef stock on chicken?! Yes, KFC figured out that puzzle long, long ago
Nice.
He was in his early 50’s but he looked so much older in these shows.
2023
Back then people didn’t give two shits about transgendered bullshit. Those were the good all days because there’s always going to be two genders only.😊 thank God
I enjoyed & miss watching Jeff Smith cooking on PBS, I didn’t know he was pedafile no wonder he was gone what a dumb old man he even had his own family wife & kids.
cut short wanker.
🙂👍
I supplemented my college-level music history courses with this excellent series by concert violinist Menuhin.Students looked forward to his continuing exploration of music, both as art and as science, both as a mirror of the mind and heart. I wish the entire series were available on DVD, but sadly, just VHS survives and VHS is nearly eligible for the museum in any town.
They don’t make them like this anymore !!
Lady and gent your work is second to none may God continue to bless you and your family outstanding job great attitude great idea astounding work. Bottom line God bless
I met him at a book signing in 1993. His assistant, Craig, hit on my girlfriend. But I still have that signed cookbook. I know of the allegations and charges, and I want peace for those persons as well. But he is the reason why I cook.
OUTTAKE: (Bucky scares Dean and Robin) "OH...CHEESEBUSTER!!! Don't do that to an old man!" - Dean "I didn't know he was in there!" - Robin
Is it Swankmeyer?
Robin has a nice ass in them jeans
Thanks, for putting this up. I heard about this show from MST3K in one of their bits, and really enjoy it. Plus he's a hometown hero!
I remember there being another version of this song being song by a single character who looked like broccoli. And his head would squash and stretch as he/she is singing.
Am I the first comment in 14 yesrs? I miss the frug.
Shark Fin. 🤭
Love this guy. I like a good stone in my soup. ;)
At 0:40... I love how Jeff jumps up with the other firefighters. But by the time he "runs" to the door, he realizes that he's not a firefighter and stands there looking sad.
I don't know what happened to him but I sure enjoyed him.
Loved Vegetable Soup! It was so fabulously fucked. Used to watch it in the day.....even back then I knew that this wasn't Sesame Street. Just learned, a few years ago, that the voice of Woody The Spoon was Bette Midler's! Thanks for posting.
Helloo
I enjoyed this show
My mom always watched him learned a lot from him I used to watch with her miss those days
Where can I find more of these?
I've always enjoyed this show. His style of organized chaos. I still apply many of his techniques today.
Times like this that I wish Hometime were still available on DVD...
All I remember about this show as a kid developing a taste for cooking was an episode where he had Elmo on. I was like “wtf…”. But seriously, I just remember being very bored at his endless dissertations about things like soup pots, boullion, and other mundane topics.
I thought that the studio set were the chefs real home. Cute kitchens
I grew up watching this. Finding this meant the world to me!
The Frugal Gourmet, or Jeff Smith, was a staple in many kitchens in the 80s, 90s, and beyond. His show was full of fun and delicious recipes, and he made cooking look easy. Even if you didn’t cook, watching his show would make you want to try. Jeff Smith was born in Tacoma, Washington, in 1939. He was a Methodist minister who taught cooking classes to his students. Eventually, he opened his own restaurant, where he continued teaching cooking classes. In 1973, he got his own cooking show, “Cooking Fish Creatively,” which was later renamed “The Frugal Gourmet.” His show was a hit, and he quickly became one of the most popular cooking show hosts in the country. Jeff Smith died in 2004, but his legacy lives on. His recipes are still used by cooks everywhere, and his show continues to inspire people to get in the kitchen.👍
Remember him on WTTW as a kid in 1990s Chicago. Today I watch to help me wind down and relax. Good ole Jeff is like meditation for me, lol
Umpa is French for Grandpa and Umma is French for Grandma.
Yea..no it's not
Omgosh!!!! I loved this show as a kid. I had an Aunt that was going deaf and this show was so helpful. I learned and still remember the alphabet from watching them. Thank you for posting this!!!!
I'm HoH and theyre quite cheesy. Also i find their signing sloppy. Even back then there were much better video courses available...and of course today.
Where's the beef?
Frugal gourmet chef
Jeff Smith was a great cooking instructor and a fine gentleman...as to the controversy that swirled around him...i will say only this..."he who is without sin, let him cast the first stone"...
