T7 vs Michigan single track - Day 2
Просмотров 41819 часов назад
First I want to say a huge thank you to Mac and his girlfriend's family for inviting and hosting us. To Joel for pacing me on day 1 and driving us around to find a battery ground cable. Mark for helping lift my bike and being the only one of us smart enough to bring food. And Nick for driving the whole way up and always pushing all of us to spend more time on the bikes. Day 2 was such an incred...
Can the Tenere 700 keep up with dirt bikes? Michigan single track day 1
Просмотров 48021 час назад
Took the Yamaha to Gaylord Michigan to ride the Tomahawk trail loop through Wolverine and all the way into Petoskey and near Cheboygan with my friends Nick, Mac, Mark, & Joel. This was my first time riding off-road with the T7 and I had a blast. Michigan trails are great flowing single track with mellow hills. Soft sand was the most challenging obstacle for an adventure bike, along with getting...

A very simple attempt at a motovlog setup with no camera or audio experience, this is a plug and play demonstration of how the DJI Action 4 and DJI Mic 2 work together specifically in a dirt bike/dual sport motovlog setup. Riding a 2023 KTM 500 EXC-F wearing a Bell MX-9 Adventure helmet.

Tail of the Dragon RAW POV - Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES DCT
Просмотров 5 тыс.2 года назад
My first time running North on 129 through the dragon. Riding a 2020 Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports DCT. Raw video with lots of wind.
Experiencing wind buffeting problems :? Think so because of the windscreen. Mine 2024 T7 is driving me crazy because of wind noise. -.-
@@motoric5188 Since I made this windshield I’ve been really happy with it. Try taking the windshield completely off and go for a ride, if it’s better you can make one like I did or just buy the shortest one you can find. Worked great for me and my head is in clean smooth air. If I was riding a ton of highway miles, I’d probably buy a madstad though. Have had good luck with them in the past!
for me , no man , i had already upgrade mine 23' model with 5.5hp more power sooo ... im fine ! Cheers from Greece !
I agree, it’s hard to start over after getting a bike setup how you like. Enjoy it!
t7 most overpriced bike on the market right now
At full MSRP with all the dealer fees I’d have to agree somewhat. A lot of deals on the 24s right now though that I think make it a great value!
Used prices are still really strong too
To be fair, I'd pay 20 grand for it, it's THAT good of a bike. I've already met probably around 15-20 people who have well over 400,000km on the clock on their Teneres and that's without any issues failures or breakdowns whatsoever. I also know a few with 600,000+km.
The struggle is real
they needed to update the shift linkage on the new ones 😂
I think that was my fault lol
awesome for sending it thru the tight stuff! My short legs don't help me on this kind of stuff so i stick to a lighter bike when tackling the woods. But 2-tracks, 50" tracks where you get this thing going, it's game on!
absolutely, this bike really shines in the open, smoother areas!
The T-7 needs a much lower first gear and a taller over drive 5th and 6th gear .. Not just street bike gears.
I wouldn’t complain about that It’s still better than most other ADV bikes I’ve ridden though
@@rideoutside I was interested in a KTM for the really low gas tank, but with all of the camshaft failures, I think I will pass
What’s your windscreen? Is that the stock screen cut down and painted?
@@KamikazeJoeNYC it’s a 3mm sheet of ABS plastic I cut and molded in the oven Not the prettiest but it was $7
2 strokes would be like TRT for this group
best comment 😂
Props to you for riding that. I've ridden that area a lot in the past two years. Heck of a good time. It's a lot easier on a 300 for sure.
I wish I lived close to trails like this! I’d definitely have a different bike if I did
@@rideoutsideSame here, I wish I lived closer. I live in Illinois and have been making monthly trips up there to visit family. But I always trailer up my bikes. Good times, have you tried to climb Chandler Hill yet?
@@WadeMade no but it looks sweet. That was my first time riding around there but I’ll definitely be back I think. I’d probably try it on the t7, depends what the repair fund is looking like at the time lol
This was really good to watch - subscribed. Oh, and Joel's get up definitely gave him 25% + more skill, dude was styling.
best looking drz I’ve seen!
"Blessed by St Marcus" HAHAHAHA

Youre a legend for sending this thing man. That was a lot of finess.
my clutch is still crying
Im a Teletubby
the cutest one!

tremendous
Hey thanks for the video I was just wondering if there was anything to note or tips when inhaling? I'll be doing mine in a few days! Also was wondering how long the and are on the double take mirror!
Hey sorry to bother you it's me again :D Do you know the diameter of the cap by any chance? I'd like to purchase a locking cap with it but looks like Acerbis has 2 sizes (small/big) but their website is quite unhelpful they don't show the measurements of the tank :( Thanks!
I believe it’s the 62.5mm cap, part no. 2070769999
@@rideoutside Thanks a lot!!
Bro the part with the guy running and then your half wave: BFAHAHAHAHA DEADDDD.
I really thought he was waving at me lol
" I'm a total Muppet with this shit" HAHAH I have never heard that before haha
We’re all new!!! Lmao
hell fuckin yeah
I’m,Like! useful dji..
DJI is great
Thanks for the video! Did you take the 300L seat concept or the rally version?
It’s the comfort tall for the 300L
Rain will go in that 2 inch vent tube
It looks terrible 😕 Shame ,because I could use one of them , but no looks too ugly !
Just think if Honda made one tank for rally and crf 300l base model. Interchangeable 😮
Looks good. Did this delete the line going to the charcoal cannister? Did you have to cap it off? I have been having issues with the surging and stalling after going down steep inclines when gas goes into the cannister. I am looking for a way to stop the issue.
You mean having the purpole hose that they include with the acerbis tank? You connected it all the way to the charcoal cannister, and gas goes through the hose all the way down? O_o
@@Tony-kf8qy I put a check valve air vent on the tank and plugged the cannister. No more stalling from flooding the cannister. Works great now.
Break while turning, not before turning, don’t be afraid the bike will handle that
Dude, you just have an open hose there from the cap?🫥
What seat do you have?
Seat Concepts tall
i love the seat, what's that ?
Seat concepts tall
Hi! Awesome bike, congrats!!!! Is there a cap with a key for that tank? Sometimes I park on the street and in Europe the price of gasoline is almost like gold! Thaks mate!
Yep Acerbis sells a locking cap for it!
Thx for uploading! Just installed my 14 Liter Tank. Video: ruclips.net/video/vE2CLnC3NYk/видео.html
It’s impossible to assemble radiator guard isn’t it?
You did that run a lot more aggressively than I would have, glad you made it down in one piece. I have the 2020 ATAS ES DCT. It shows that the bike it certainly capable of navigating twisties.
Thanks Even with the 21” front they really do great on the street no matter what all the journalists say haha
Are you new to riding? Have you taken this bike on a long highway haul? If so, comfort level?
I only had this bike for 3 months and 6k miles. Only complaint would be the stock seat and windshield, that’s easy to fix though. It’s a great long distance ride especially with the 6.5 gallon tank. One of my favorite bikes that I’ve owned, I’ve considered buying another.
That's one Hella stretch of twisted roadway
With the breather hose on your gas tank like this, you will certainly get mess in your petrol
Where did you buy it?
Where are you located ? They aren't available in the US yet . Awesome machine. I'm setting mine up very similar
I’m in Indiana I was able to have it shipped over from Europe but they should be available here very soon, I’ve heard around February Thanks!
@@rideoutside I actually got one ordered frome Italy and I received it in like 6 days. I will be putting it on soon ! Thanks for the reply. Have you done any suspension upgrades yet ? That's my next move as this is way too soft for hard trail riding
@@MrJet1982 nice! The install is very smooth you’re gonna love it. I put full racetech suspension on mine, completely changed the bike
hi mate , I don't know where I can buy the gas tank, but here in Europe I can't find it,where you bought it,,thanks
DCT is future
Even though I like the black much better, I'm thinking of getting the naked to see how much gas is left. Do you see any issues just getting the black one? I read you comment about shows full for about 80 miles. Does that means that after that the fuel gauge is pretty accurate? Thank you!
I haven’t been bothered by it, it seems to be just as accurate as the stock tank once you get past that first bar on the gauge. I think the clear one would be pretty useful as far as peace of mind goes though
I'm thinking of getting this tank, although it's not a huge problem in the UK. You can also set your gauge to ltrs used, apparently it's reasonably accurate so I'm going to change over to that instead of mpg.
Thanks for the video...I may have to go with this tank one day
I think your bike looks really great! 👍 Do you have s Facebook or Instagram post with complete specs/mod list? If not would you mind contacting me on insta? (Same username, mostly car related) I'm on the fence wanting to buy a 300L or Rally, but I think the nimbler 300L suits me better. And the other day I thought for myself a tank and windshield mod will make the standard 300L perfect. I think your mods looks really perfect. Still nimbler than a Rally you think?
Thanks! I’ve basically built my bike into the rally at this point lol and it definitely would’ve been cheaper/easier to just buy a rally. What I got by doing this build is the weight savings and durability. I’ve flipped this bike completely upside down twice now which probably would’ve destroyed the rally’s fairings and windshield. mods on my bike: Adventure Spec mini fairing Pro taper CR high bars Seat Concepts tall seat Fastway pegs Tusk rear rack 550 performance ECU Yoshi full exhaust system Full racetech suspension w/ gold valves Acerbis tank and skid plate Zeta handguards with turn signals TST industries tail tidy
@@rideoutside Thank you very much for the information! 😃👍 Yeah it would be a lot more costly to flip a Rally uspide down, thats for sure a con. It's probably a lot cheaper and fixing the parts you added versus the OEM Rally parts.
@@rideoutside Would you have reconsidered and bought a Rally today? If you had the knowledge and foreseen the costs of your build. I think the L still looks more nimble and better handling.
@@uti_s1471 no, I’m very happy I got the L version It’s easy to get the range and comfort of the rally on the L, but you’ll never get the lighter weight and durability the L has out of the rally. I’ve never ridden a rally, so my opinion really isn’t worth much. I just don’t think it would’ve held up as well to the abuse off road.
@@rideoutside Thanks alot for your time and knowledge 👍 This is what I believe too 👍
Ah-Chair-Bees
Looks great, also thinking of getting one for mine! Does the bike fuel gauge on the display still show an accurate value though? I would expect it to show as full until the fuel line gets to where the stock tank max capacity is (7.5L?) and then starts going down from there...
That’s correct, it has around 80 miles of range before the fuel gauge shows less than full.
where did you get your tank from ? as ive been after one for a while ever since i got my 21 plate crf300l, was it made for that model ? or did you make it fit from another model thanks
It’s made for the 300L It was just released recently but only in Europe so far. They are hard to get ahold of but soon they should be available in all countries There’s a link to where I bought it in another comment on here
Pretty handbar ❤
Yeah, which one is it?
Do you have a radiator guard fitted? Which make? Does it still fit with the tank? It's unlikely a new acerbis tank will let me retain my Flatlands racing radiator guard. Thanks for posting.
Unfortunately I don’t have a radiator guard to experiment with yet. I’m also curious though and if I see a solution from another source I’ll update you here. Thanks
