How fortunate are we to see the birth of such brilliant pizzas

As a student who sang this and the other SATB songs such as No Time at the 2024 HS Honor Choir as Tenor 1, I enjoyed the experience, and it was truly an honor being there meeting new people. I'd like to thank you, Dr. Talberg, for this true masterpiece that you have made, and I have had the song stuck in my head ever since. Thank you for giving these wonderful songs including this one. Even though those memories were just three days they felt like a week and Traveler's Hymn always bring tears to my eyes. Thank you Dr. Talberg for the opportunity of singing this piece with many other people.

this is my favorite choral piece

i was in the scva regionals at redlands and dr hazzard told us this was one of his favorite pieces, which brought me here. and oh my god. i love it so much.

I was a tenor preforming this at the honor choir where this song was first sang and almost, A year later this song still hits the chords of my heart & alwrys is their for me when I’m alone. This song means the world to me and from the bitten of my heart thank you Matt for composing such a beautiful personal piece

The V-7 at 4:09 is one of the most heartbreaking things ever written. I was lucky enough to get to perform this at the Pasadena ACDA convention in March and still listen to it today. Thank you, Matthew, for this amazing gift of a song.

Hi Matthew. It was thrilling to have you zoom into Lehigh Valley Chorale's rehearsal last night (I am the blue haired alto you pointed out). Your encouragement and suggestions to LVC will be taken to heart, and I know we will do an amazing job at our concert. And of course your reference to SpongeBob had all of us laughing. And finally I have to tell you, in referring to the beginning and ending of the song and the sounds of the train, you are talking to a retired New York City subway train operator!! I sung this as 2nd Tenor in Utah’s All State Choir a year ago under the direction of Johnathan Talberg himself!! I love the melodic lines and the difficulty that comes with this piece! It was literally my all time favorite to sing and I still study that music today!
