Inbar Rothschild, pianist
Добавлен 5 янв 2012
Combining "... poetry, warmth, feeling, imagination, sincerity... and a brilliant technique," Inbar Rothschild's playing is inspired by the great Romantic tradition of her acclaimed musical ancestors, Pnina Salzman and Alfred Cortot. In addition to an active career as a concert pianist and an avid chamber musician, Inbar is researching her musical heritage in the course of her Ph.D. studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London, capturing the living memory of Cortot's and Salzman's musical tradition in order to communicate it to next generations.

Unfortunately, the video recording got cut in the middle as my unattended recording session ended... (but, luckily, the sound recording continued for a few more minutes so the audio is complete.)

Rare recording of lost Golden Age master Richard Blishton playing Partita No. 1 B-Flat Major Prelude
One of the most satisfying parts of the Sonata, when it becomes D major. The long transition right before this theme makes you wanna say "Finally!"
This is a very soothing piece.
I just read that this piece was included in the soundtrack of a Lars von Trier movie.
The student here is Shira Shaked, and this is not a lesson nor a masterclass, but an interpretation course (Shira was not a personal student of Salzman, but students came to the course to discuss pieces and potential of interpretation, to which the student audience also commented, and not specifically for an individual lesson). I'm glad you liked her. She was an incredible artist, musician, pianist, teacher, and above all - a human being.
It is beutiful

תודה רבה, איזה כבוד ❤️
Splendid performance. Moving, tender yet tense, evocative and narrative. It's incredibly beautiful, both formally and in meaning. And what a sonority, warm and incredibly nuanced! Thank you so much for this gem!
Thank you, it was played with the image of the most beautiful people I know in mind... ❤️
I tell you something. I knew, from the first, your profession besides usual musician, which was your interview with Ivry Gitris. I didn't like his playing so that I sold his CDs. That's all. But, they made it a stupid nut-case. And, they set fires on it. Your first involvement in this case is conducted in such a dirt. I accepted your struggles, however; and, I wrote a message to you, then you friended me by calling me in their nickname not my own. Besides, it was not me but you, Inbar, who unfriended me. Can you accept such an intentional mis-guidence? Straight-forwardly, possibly you can't. That's almost why exactly I don't mind your current course in your second homeland London, UK. You have chosen in that way, and you will be rewarded accordingly. It's noteworthy to emphasize on this point. That you never put "like" or "love" on my Facebook photos on your own firm-decided choice of your very own. In publicity, you put "like" was on my Brahms only, and not for the rest. (That's the very way of the Japanese had stolen my once-promised future in my mid-teens, which they are following until this date). It was some sorts of disgrace, I am sure, but I accepted that choice of yours once. And, I never will from this point on.
Lovely, beautiful!❤
Very Beautifull...
So nice ❤❤

A very deep and moving performance. Thank you so much for this gem!
Thank you, my dear friend ❤
When I listen to your musical interpretation that arises as a spell from your hands and in line with your breathing, it is like traveling to a very deep dimension of the soul where you always want to stay there and not get out of that special ecstasy...💎💎
Thank you for these kind sentiments 🙏

Wou......great Art.
Splendid interpretation, both nostalgic and full of imaginative phrases. Thank you very much!
Just fabulous! One of the best interpretations I've ever heard of this sonata, with a sensitivity and articulation, a sense of narrative that blends drama and lightness. This is great Mozart, thank you very much!
Thank you, I'm honoured🙏❤

While in London, go to a University Art department and find an art student that likes to play with lighting. You can play the piano music very very well. But also play with the lighting in recording/editing videos to find a lighting style that's specially tuned to attract viewers.
Hi, and thanks for the suggestion! It will be nice to do a proper recording with a matching video as well, I agree. These are just automated unattended recordings I made because I enjoy it and had the opportunity at the RAM, which I'm now graduating from (PhD). I did, however, make a slightly more artistic recording (and editing) to Chopin's 24 Preludes, Op. 28 and the additional Prelude Op. 45, which went into the conclusions of my thesis, if you want to take a look:)
Loving it so much! Thank you, dear Inbar for sharing this beauty!
Thank you ;)
thank you for this human, this feels like a high quality FRSM level analysis combined with such poetic precision.... and efficiency :)
I'm happy you enjoyed it and thank you for your comment, it means a lot!

יקר ענבר, I am foreseeing your projection of Chopin through the eyes of my own. It's hard to keep oneself sane in this world of insanity. But, we will somehow overwelm the evils and force bring back peace of mind from the hands of those evils and weak-minded. I am pointing out of Netanyahus here: his forging of history and Judaism tied-with White House and Capitol Hill. מזל טוב!
טודה, ענבה!!! שלום!!!
יפה מאוד.

no nonsense, great technique, very nice sound
Thank you!
This is Cortot that I hear. Never thought I would hear playing like this in modern times. Thank you for preserving this tradition
