Next time try to use VMware Workstation for using Windows 95 at full speed, in a stable way (with the patches), 32 bit mode color, and probably more features. VirtualBox doesn't actually support Windows 95, and you know, emulators run at the speed those computers actually run, so it's very slow. VMware and it's virtualization solution have been around since 1997 and that is why they officially support Windows 95 even in modern versions (of course, it is the modern CPU that might not support it, but that is the job of the patch). Also, nowadays, VMware Workstation is completely free. Regarding what is said about WinWorld, they have had this warning not to use virtualizers for a long time, due exclusively to the issue of CPUs. But on hardware of the time VMware worked well, and even now with the right steps, it still does. Your screensaver runs perfectly there, and as you stated before, your code needs optimization for old hardware. Have a good day :D
