I only enjoy the moto vlog if the person is interesting and fun. You're a down to earth, real world guy who like me, buys tools and stuff as he goes and discovers what you need to buy to do whatever the next thing is. You've gotten to a point where you should start doing Team-ups with other YT bike channels, like Shadetree Surgeon or Do It With Dan. I found your channel because I have a 91 FXRS, and I've learned SO MUCH watching your vids. Thanks for doing what you do!

My axillary plug has a 7.5 volt fuse. The fused wire that comes with the unit has a 3 volt fuse. I used the wired plug that came with the unit for that reason fyi. P.S. get the rubber vibration device, or you could damage your phone.

There is ABSOLUTELY no reason to remove the derby cover to do this job. Just remove the drain plug drain the oil then remove the primary chain inspection cover and just add 1 quart the primary oil with a funnel reinstall the inspection cover and your done. You do not need to do anything else. PRERIOD!!!!

70 mph is 3K or so on my FXR2. Keeping my solid 5 speed, no need to invite a headache with the 6 speed.

I love them both but I think the fab 28 is a much cleaner sound if that makes any sense. Less raspy like you said compared to the thunderheader

That compensator nut is a bear! Tried a 1/2" drive breaker bar with 2' cheater pipe, was a no go. Need more muscle but breaking the breaker bar seems a concern. ???

Great video. I have a question though, you said that the bike needs to be warmed up. Can I warm up the bike even though I know I’m super low on the primary fluid without it messing up the transmission?

This was my first bike and I rode it for 20 years before selling it, a decision I now question, but I just didn't have room for two bikes. My new (to me) 2003 Anniversary Deuce, even with a big bore kit on the twin cam and high compression heads can't match the performance of the 1200S. It was not a comfortable bike for long rides with its "sit up and beg" posture and the considerable vibration of the solid mounted evo. I just wish I still had it for ripping around the city.

Looks great, whatever little dust you gotten into the clear probably wont even show as a whole, it will be a professional look on that thing and with 5 coats if you need to cut and polish there is more than enough paint.
