And no I just use fluorocarbon leader 50lb

There is no problem with it especially if you are just doing it recreationally. The problem lies with anglers that come and take their bag limit every day. And the other problem is that I can guarantee they are selling the fish because there is alot of meat on 1 medium sized garrick of about 8kg. Enough to feed a large family for several nights. I know for a fact people are selling most of their catches because I get offered money all the time. I think those limits have been in place for a very long time and should be adjusted to 1 per day. Another problem is that our DAFF don't enforce the law and monitor our beaches and people take more than their bag limit I have seen it. When you say something they want to fight with you.

Nope not at all you can find alot of different species inshore near sandbanks

Most fish are edible, you could probably even have sashimi with them.

Hi I am using 20lb Braid and 40lb leader. I find that you will get far less breakoffs while casting if you adjust your technique slightly to an overhead fling like bowling a cricket ball. I'll try to make a video this week with knots and tackle I use

I'm using an ultra wide angle setting on my camera it does make the fish look a bit smaller on film. This fish was about 8/9 kg Sooo it's a giant to me 😂
