Avalon King Armor Shield G.O.A.T nano ceramic coating
The Z4 M Coupe originally had been ceramic coated with Avalon King’s Armor Shield IX coating about 3 years ago. Decided that it probably needs a new coating, the water just wasn’t beading off of it fast enough.
Washed it using Griot’s super concentrated car wash, then Griot’s Iron and Fallout remover, then clayed with a synthetic clay bar, followed by Griot’s Correcting Cream to strip what’s left of the original Armor Shield IX coating, followed up with Griot’s Perfecting Cream, then prepped with IPA spray and finished with the G.O.A.T coating.
The G.O.A.T coating was a lot harder to apply than Armor Shield IX, it flashes quickly and if you don’t wipe it off immediately after it flashes, i...

Listen to my story, and tell me I'm in the wrong here? I feel that people now-a-days have no manners, and feel that if they just do whatever they wanted, the other party will usually just back off. I mean, all the people screaming that they wanted the country to go back to the way it was? I miss the civility, decorum, and common sense. Bring that back. I think the Nikon Z fc gets a bum rap

If you search for reviews of the Nikon Z fc, you'll probably get a lot of reviews that are of a negative tone, to the effect that "it doesn't fit in any niche" or ask questions like "what exactly is this camera for?" I am going to try and make a compelling case that there is a market for the Z fc, and that most of the reviewers failed to grasp why Nikon created this camera.

However, in match play it was bit more unpredictable since I had to adjust my arm speed based on the different shots I was facing. I was hitting long as a result. For the ball to not get stuck I applied the "Professional-Grade Moldable Plastic Pellets by Polly Plastics" from amazon. I applied it on that panel in a slopy mold and glued it. To fix the issue of the ball not feeding I molded more of that noted mold and shaped the mold so that the crosswise shaft is further raised up a bit more than an inch and glued it on. On the dial section for adjusting the ball height from the luanch pad I appied a white "Fine Paint Marker for Rock Painting-Stone, Ceramic, Metal, Glass, Wood,Set of 6 Paint Pens High Volume Ink High Volume Ink for DIY Craft" from Amazon. I applied it on the black line marker for better visibility even from a distance. On the opening of the bag from the top entrance to place the racket I placed an elastic fiber string crosswise (made two a heated metal hole on both sides) and that is where I hang my towel. There's more but this is enough for now. Thanks for letting me share.

I think it would make a fine "only" camera for anyone who just loves taking pictures wherever they go. If shooting events, portraits, sports, large-scale landscape, etc. then, no the Z fc is not the best choice. Just depends what you need it for.

    Food for thought. The Nikon D6 only had a 20mp sensor at full frame. 20mp DX will get you are really really nice 13x19 print if not larger. In comparison the sensor in the Z7II, Z9 and D850 will get you a 20"x30" print. Now talking glass the full range of Z S lenses plus all the F glass with the FTZ and you have choices. I do like the retro look of the Zfc. I also liked the look of the Df but it has a 13mp sensor and really needed a refresh after 5 years but sadly will never get it.

    • @2321thehack
      @2321thehack Год назад

      I mean, if you're to read all the reviews online, yeah, everyone says it's intended for more advanced players. My personal opinion, you play with what suits your game? I'm a big-ish guy, 6'0", 200 lbs, 50 years old but probably in the best shape of my life. I find this racquet challenging but rewarding to use, you have to generate ALL your power. I used to play with an EZone 100 and then moved onto an EZone 98+, and while both were fantastic racquets, power and spin both came very easy with both racquets. The 95 I learned to swing hard, swing through, and hit with better footwork rather than just sticking my racquet out there and hope it connects. The ONE aspect of this racquet that I agree with all reviewers. It swings much bigger than it looks. Don't let the 95 sq. in. size intimidate you, it plays much more like a 98. In fact, I'd spend a week demoing the VCore Pro 97 (the base model), and I'd say the VCore 95 plays more like a 98 than the VCore Pro 97. I'd say try it, demo it if you can. When I tried the previous generation VCore 95, I felt far more connected to it than I did with the EZone 98+. I knew I was giving up power but I didn't mind it. It took a year to get my forehand and serves back up to the power level I was swinging with on the 98+, and I haven't lost any more control I gained with the 95...And my one-handy backhand is far more dialed in with the VCore 95 vs. the EZone 98+.

    I agree. I have a Z6 among others and the Z fc is just as much a camera as the rest of the Z Nikon line up. I have to admit, at first I thought it was a gimmicky "toy" camera as others put it. But after a year just using FF mirrorless as a hobby, I wanted a smaller crop sensor body for longer reach and portability. I compared the Z fc, against the XT5, Canon R7, and even Sony A7C FF because of it's small size. The deeper I dived into it, the more the Z fc made sense. Low light/High ISO performance: The Nikon 20MP crop sensor is the best APSC sensor ever made IMO. You can see its iterations in the D500, D7500, Z30, Z50, and Z fc. Comparing it's low light performance/high ISO to other cameras just shows how it's ahead in low light performance. The XT4 26mp sensor produces good colors but too much noise at high ISO and colors drop off. Same with the new 40mp XT5. Great Fuji colors but they do not perform well at higher ISO, they start to get visibly noisy at 6400+ and that's where Nikon 20mp sensor shines. Not to mention Fuji lenses are expensive. Sure, there are plenty, but they're expensive, take the $800 Fujinon 70-300 for example, it's not that much of an improvement over the Z DX 50-250. The Fujifilm build quality is also not good compared to Sony, Nikon, Canon. And fanboys will tell you about the film simulations, but I have many amazing film simulation presets in lightroom. Then the 23mm LM WR 1.4 Fujinon is $800, meanwhile the class leading Nikon Z S line 50mm 1.8 is only $500-600, and the Z lens lineup is growing and allowing 3rd party lenses and at the time of writing this there is more Z lenses than Canon RF lenses available. When you take a look at Canon APSC their autofocus is fantastic, possibly the best, but they also suffer in low light/high ISO (possibly due to high pixel density). Fuji fanboys will bash the Nikons, especially DX, but I prefer quality over quantity of features, and the few things the Z30/Z50/Zfc can do, it does very well. I don't need a hundred lenses, just a few really good ones. Pair the Z fc with the kit lens with VR and I have been able to get great pictures at 1/4 shutter. Or the 50-250 for a compact telephoto setup for casual wildlife outings/zoo visits/family sports/air shows. Or pick a Z prime 24mm 1.8 or 35mm 1.8 or 50mm 1.8 for maximum picture qualities. Or 28mm 2.8, 50-250mm DX Z tele, new pancake 26mm 2.8, 40mm F2, 24-200mm Z, 18-140 VR, or dozens of 3rd party lenses like the Voigtlander 23mm f1.2, or old school with the FTZ with 35mm DX or AFP 70-300. So many options! Canons are feature rich in their crop bodies, but they lack small lenses for their crop bodies and their crop bodies are almost the size of the full frame. If the Zfc or Z50 didn't exist I'd probably take the Canon R7 for their AF and dual card slots. Sony used to provide competitive crop sensor cameras but their performance has fallen behind. I compared the Sony A7C full frame side by side with the Z fc and the low light perfomance is about the same. The Sonys get greener the higher ISO you go. If people say the Z fc feels like a toy, they should use one because I found the build quality to be better than the mid range Fujifilm and on par with higher end Fujifilm bodies. The lens selection for Z dx is perfectly fine as you can use any Z lens and + FTZ adapter. The new 26mm F2.8 on the Z fc is a perfect stealth street photography camera that produces stunning results regardless of sensor size. The low light/high ISO performance is incredible. The colors are typical Nikon magic and SOOC files from my Nikons are better than what I got with Fuji/Sony. Not to mention the AF on the Zfc is improved over the Z50 and carries a lot of features/updates over from the Z6/Z7 II. I can keep going on and on but the Z fc is a fantastic little gem, and it's not just for appearance, it really does perform exceptionally and I believe one of the best general use crop sensor bodies ever made, especially for a compact setup with the 26mm f2.8.

    I wouldn’t agree with calling it a “toy”- or “fun”-camera. Focus-peaking, ergonomic controls, and long-exposure settings are (to list just a few features) extremely good and useful, as is the versatile flip-screen. It’s a great camera for serious use (in the 2 years I’ve had it). Otherwise, I agree: it’s significantly underrated.

      I think it is great fun to shoot with this camera, but I don't consider it being a "toy" either. It may not be a professional tool, but the picture and video quality is more than decent. • @thisisbenji90
    @thisisbenji90 Год назад

    I think there's just a lot of Nikon haters out there. I have the Zfc and also the Fujifilm X100V and I feel like in most cases the Zfc is the superior camera. The one thing that kind of lets the Zfc down is how cheap the bottom plate on the Zfc feels, especially the the battery door. The X100V feels much higher quality in the hand, but the AF is worse, I don't like the colors as much, the evf is worse, it's harder to switch between shooting modes, and the iPhone app from Fujifilm is trash. I ended up getting the official Nikon grip for my Zfc and it made a huge difference in the premium feel of the camera.

    I'm currently using a 13 year old Babolat Pure drive racquet 100 ( I have slight tennis elbow ) so I know when I move to a new racquet it will take a while to get used too. My game relies on heavy top spin however I really have to put a lot of energy to generate spin and power which really can make me tired at times. I think it's due to the old racquet. I'm thinking I could evolve my game with a new racquet I can put less energy in and reap the benefits of getting easier power and spin. I also enjoy a nice slice and the occasional flat shot. I have no idea what brand I should get but I had seen the ezone and the vcore. I'm open to any brand of racquet so please help me out as I have no clue and what strings should I get and at what tightness! I'm more familiar with the Yonex line since I've been playing primarily with them since the 90s. If you want easy power AND spin, you probably won't want the VCore 95. Of any generation. The Yonex VCore 95 is precise and offer control unlike few other Yonex racquets, but they require you to swing out hard to get spin and power. Like REAL hard. For you I'd recommend any of the new EZones, especially the EZone 100. It's 10G lighter than the VCore 95, and offers easy power and with the 100's 16 x 19 string pattern, it offers some good spin potential too. I used to play with the last generation VCore 100 and it's amazing for slices.

I found the 2021 vcore 98 way too stiff (arm issues) so I never pursued it, but with the new one being softer I thought about trying it out for a bit of extra juice/slightly less demanding. Unfortunately getting a demo where I live is next to impossible. Would you say the 2023 vcore98 is LESS stiff than the 2021 vcore95? How would you compare the two? Thanks!

    • @2321thehack

      I didn't play them back to back. Compared to the 2021 VCore 98+ I hit with, it wasn't less stiff, or didn't feel like it. Out of the 3 demos I tried (2021 VCore 98+, 2023 VCore 98, and 2023 VCore 95), the 98 was the least favorite. If you currently hit with the 2021 VCore 95 like I do, I would recommend the 2023 VCore 95. It isn't less stiff, but it's a lot more comfortable on the arm. If you want more power, I would actually say the new EZone 98 is more comfortable to hit with IMO.

      @@farood5 Yes. Spent 2 hours in a doubles match on Monday and 30 minutes or so with my daughter (she's on her HS tennis team), and about 2 hours in the wet on Sunday. I need to gather my thoughts and there'll be a more indepth "review" on the 95 later, but my first impressions are if you are currently using the last gen VCore95, upgrade NOW. This new VCore 95 is redesigned from the ground up but still retain the swing characteristics of the last gen VCore 95. If you're using an even OLDER VCore 95, you should probably demo it and see, I think it's a fantastic update compared to the last gen. Transition from the older VCore to the new one is easy and nearly seamless. But it IS a demanding racquet. If you've never hit with the VCore 95 before, it's not the easiest racquet to hit with nor the most powerful. It's more forgiving than the VCore Pro 97 line-up, and it's a good balance between a "Pro" stick like the VCore Pros and the VCores or EZones. I'm not an advanced player, so this stick doesn't suit my current skill level. But it is oddly satisfying to hit with and the 16x20 string pattern works well for my onehanded backhand. The 98 or 98+ probably works better for my overall game, but I like using the 95. Long answer short? I've already "placed an order" for 2 new 2023 VCore 95s.

    That's about the same setting I am using. I am now placing the bag at the opposite T-line; this way, the balls bounce in the serve box, and I have to hit the balls with less power and more control to avoid them going long. To my surprise, my game has become significantly more consistent; my body automatically adds power when needed (e.g. when I hit a ball close to the ground line). I will eventually have the same slinger bag position that you have right now, but I first want to be as consistent as possible with the setting I have now.

    When I toss the ball to 11 am, I usually get more spin on it, but it's accidental and I once almost pulled a muscle by hitting a ball tossed too far to the left, so gotta get that under control. But when the ball is hit on the left, there is usually topspin on it and it goes inside.

    That looks so cool. Very consistent. You know those rallyes where two 4.5 players play hard shots back and forth to each others baselines? This is like that, just a little slower, but still clean hitting. Impressive!

      No I ended up removing the lead from the hoop as it was starting to affect my elbow after extended play. Then I switched over to an Yonex EZone 98 Plus (the 27.5" version of the 98) and have been playing with that ever since. All the control of the smaller racquet face, with the added 1/2" of leverage. By far my favorite stick so far.

      @@2321thehack Yeah, let me know how it goes. Focussing on the torso rotation does initially feel a bit stuffy for me, but if I try to hit an "effortless" forehand, I tend to move the arm in isolation, which is not good. It does feel great though when the torso rotates and you can then freely swing through with your right arm.

    • @2321thehack
      @2321thehack 2 года назад

      The OG version (this is the 2nd replacement they sent) does get jammed up quite often. They (Slinger Bag) fixed something in the mechanism where the tray reverses direction when it senses a jam so it doesn't do that anymore. I believe they made a running production change in mid 2021.
