We strive for excellence in performance and are committed to generating a supportive and enthusiastic audience base through relevant, thematic programming.
Niagara’s Avanti Chamber Singers, under the direction of Dr. Rachel Rensink-Hoff, is a community-based mixed chamber choir, performing mainstream choral literature, both accompanied and a cappella, including Canadian and Niagara-based composers. Our performances typically include a wide array of old and new musical styles, from short compositions to extended choral works. We give three season concerts each year as part of Brock University’s Viva Voce Choral Series.

Oh my goodness-it’s been a while since I’ve had this good of a cry, watching and listening to these thoughtful insights from you all. I was in attendance for “Look North“ and that feels like an eternity ago. For various reasons it’s been the better part of two years since I’ve sung with a choir and I miss it so much. Thank you for helping us all to keep looking forward.
The empty chairs in the beginning made me cry because we all want to be there in person. This too shall pass and we will be there to hear this beautiful music in person. Thank you so much and special thanks to the technicians who so ably used their skills to present an amazing concert in difficult times. Bravo!
