Camping with my dog. In the Lake District. (Part 1)
Просмотров 1304 года назад
Not been camping for a while so decided to get back into it. Last minute night out camping with my dog Ray, bought some new camping gear. went off up into the Lake district in Cumbria, little place called Ulpha. Sorry for the quality of the video, I forgot to take my camera so it is all filmed on my phone. Enjoy!
Fastest Zip line in the world (Velocity 2) over Penrhyn Quarry. Wales. UK.

100 mph strapped to a zip line, over a quarry, head first. Was actually really enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.
I did that for my 18th birthday. My mums legs came out the bar and she got stuck and had to be rescued
Wtf! Bet that was scary lol
@@Leethecumbrian she was shaking 😂
@@CatalynRose not surprised 😂
@@Leethecumbrian we got to go on it a second time for free, where usually it would cost £120
@@CatalynRose result 👌
You picked a brilliant day there the weather looked cool too 👌🏻👍🏻 always good to do it on a clear day 👍🏻
Did this on Monday 1/04/24. Had an absolute blast!! My daughter’s choice as a mother/daughter activity before her wedding next month.. and here’s me thinking she would pick a nice sedate spa day… I should have known!! It was ACE though!!
Watched a video where some guy got stuck over the pond on this zip line
😂😂😂
Wow thats wasted miniutes off my day waiting till the end for 30 seconds of excitment 😂 100mph not a chance more like 50mph
Looks like absolute fun ride video boring
😂😂😂
I rode this today with my cousins and it was so much fun! It’s much faster than it looks, and I’m definitely going again
Been there, done that, got the badge. The actual ride takes 60 second but what a rush. Better than any White Knuckle Ride. The Go Karts down the same mountain are even better. 10/10.
Amazing
This is bloody terrifying - I’ve been on it twice (to get over my fear of heights) - it didn’t work - I’m never going on it again!!!
Nice video, looks like fun, but you could cut the first three minutes.
I agree... Been up ages now though and I can't be bothered tbh lol
That little grill works great and is very durable. The key to it’s success is that you must remove the entire pot support along with the crossbars and place the grill directly on top of the main stove body, plus, wait until the flame dies down to a bed of glowing coals.
Hi, ahh that makes more sense then! I will try it next time 👍
Cymru am byth
A superb little video. Thanks for making it. Sorry to ask, but do you think this one is better than the : REDCAMP Camping Wood Burning Stove, Stainless Steel Compact Portable Foldable Mini Mult Fuel Camp Stove with Storage Bag, Perfect for Backpacking Hiking Travelling Outdoor Cooking Picnic BBQ? (Both burners found on Amazon). Thanks again.
Hi, thanks for the comment. I'm not sure but I'll take a look 👍
It works very well.
@@redpillnibbler4423 Danken thankenhofer. Much appreciated. 👍
@@OnceTheyNamedMeiWasnt You are welcome 👍
@@redpillnibbler4423 Please could I check something with you? Are you "nibbling" on the red pill because it's easier that way to absorb the truth bit by bit. I've always been scared about swallowing my second red pill whole as the first one caused me to suffer a semi-seizure, inter-cosmic horstatan-fiergould Kierkegaard-abyss-hurl internal-combustion-collapse and mega-mashup of my axekill westwielder frachensystem. I'm thinking that nibbling it might be easier. Thoughts...?
The cup gos on the bottom. It’s an ashtray.
Make sure to pre-book first and be prepared to pay £92!
wrap the stove in a kitchen towel to reduce the rattle
Make one of these to protect what’s underneath, collect the ashes and prevent earth or debris from blocking the air.
Cut them all to max of 3 inches and stack them vertically. Light the fire on top, and enjoy a long, controlled burn without having to tend or add to the fire.
How long will it burn if you stack the timber or use W pellets ...got try both ... THANKS J.R.
I've never used the pellets but apparently they last ages!
Was given one , and have a large bag of pellets that I use in another stove , wondered if they burn the same ...CHEERS

You have to make the best of the weather. If you wait for a perfect day in the UK you never get out at all lol
Attack of the weresheep. Beware.
Always aware of those sheep.
The grill part is for use when only embers remain. It acts like a BBQ.
My travelled from china in 13 days
does wifi signal works here
Not sure mate
I was there yesterday and wanted to have a go but you have to book tickets online. Can you use your ticket on any day?and Snowdon is amazing.
I think you need to book in advance tbh. I'd imagine it's quite busy, especially through the summer hols.
Travelling to snowdon in a few weeks and I can't miss out on the zip line opportunity, how was your experience on the zip line and what to expect when your on it, I am slightly afraid of heights but I'm willing to give it a try 😀
It's a good experience tbf. You start off doing a smaller zip line down near the visitor centre. Then you drive to the top of the quarry on an old rickety bus thingy. It is high up but it doesn't actually feel it for some reason. I think it might have changed slightly since we did it but the it'll be the same idea. Prepare for a decent 'jolt' when the brake hits you at the bottom haha
Pro tip: use the pick for killing and use the shovel to bury the body
did this a few days ago, so good. Felt that clunk at the end
Yeh its a decent clunk ain't it haha
@@Leethecumbrian was bricking it before but hands down one of the best feelings! I feel like the quarry has filled with more water now too.
Hahaha we were all hungover when we did it after a heavy night in Liverpool... Was sober at the end though 😂
Scenario no 4, silly cow
Looks ace. I can't wait to do this on Monday
It was class, I think it might have changed slightly since we did it... But it'll still be good 👌 Enjoy 👍
@@Leethecumbrian just out of curiosity, how much does it cost?.
@@thedisabledwelshman9266 it's about £75 each now but we didn't pay that much. Its cheaper the more people do it as well.
@@Leethecumbrian £75 quid just to have your guts turned inside out. mmmmmm. sounds worth it to me. lol
thanks for this review! 👍🏼
No problem 👍
Really great camp in a fantastic nature. I like youre shots. greetings and sub from Thuringia Marco & Racoon
Thanks mate, you should go there 👍👍 Hopefully be back up there in the summer
Will it burn surface under the stove? Solo Stove Titan can be used on snow or dry grass but it unfoldable and expensive. Thanks for your review.
I've used it on grass before and it didn't burn underneath 👍
You have to make a aluminum ring underneath so you will not burn anything. Simple solution
Did you know that if you put the burn pan in upside-down, it’s bottom will support an alcohol stove at the proper distance from the pot for optimal performance?
Yes mate, did I not do that in the setup? Can't remember haha
@@Leethecumbrian Sorry, you did indeed show the inverted burn pan supporting the crude alcohol “bowl “ supplied. I was thinking of conventional stoves like Trangia or Toaks Siphon alcohol stoves. My bad!
@@robertshirley1672 haha no worries. This is a good little stove 👍👍
Good gear... I have one... Thanks for the review
Amazing video. You have the front camera which is nice! :) We did ours a few days ago ( ruclips.net/video/DSfnqMx0Smw/видео.html ) . We would love to do it again if we can.
I did this today omg it was fast also I did forest coaster
Good isn't it 👍👍
I did mine a few days ago! Absolutely AMAZING!!! Here is our flying video :) ruclips.net/video/DSfnqMx0Smw/видео.html
This isn’t just a multi tool it’s a deadly self defence weapon in the right hands, this would kill a man in one blow ! And then bury him on the spot !
Haha this is true, I'll let you know if it works if I ever have the need 👍👍

Very nice video.Looks good.Enjoyed it a lot !!!
Thanks 👍👍
Hi, I've been thinking of getting one. 10 months later do you still use it? Think it's gone up in price a little but reviews tend to be quite positive on Amazon 🙂 Nice video btw
Thanks mate 👍 I always take it with me. Useful for digging fire pits, digging out lumps n bumps for under the tent... Toilet breaks! Yeh it's handy 👍
Cheers for the review, been looking at these for a while and will now get this one. 👍
Hey, nice Video, thanks for sharing. I just ordered this stove today. Maybe as a tip, the pan you mentioned first, is as a protection for Gras or something you place the stove on. It also helps to keep the ash more together and that it is easier to dump the ash in the bin. Cheers, Sven
Cheers Sven 👍👍 enjoy the stove. I love mine!
Lee from the North Oliver yes I will, mine has a smaller bowl as well for some fuel to burn in that stove. First impression is really good, will try it soon for the first time.
@@Darkremixsven yes mine had the alcohol dish aswell but I haven't used that yet
