@sandraturner3838 thank you so much for taking the time to leave the comment and boost my page insights! I went to your page to return the favor but as I expected, you haven’t created anything for me to comment on. I’m not sure what stylist has taken advantage of you in the past but that’s not how I operate over here. All of my clients make their own decision to schedule appointments and sit in my chair. Thanks again 😊
@iamxinmarie I know your game With all this Xtra nonsense Because back in the days the Old G's was doing before you Was ever born with straighten combs Pressing Marcella irons on the kitchen Stove in their kitchens doing all Natural hair because it was no weave Then and hair was greased not Gel to death that break the hair out Dry it out to frequent breakage!!! I'm much older than you and know More than hair care than ever will You overpriced your black sisters! I don't need your type of attention Through social media because I Have it real people walking around Than meeting everyone on Facebook and Instagram and this why so Many young girls go missing!!!!!
@@sandraturner3838oh ok I’m glad you know so much about me and how long I’ve been licensed 😂 How about you go ahead and create your own videos to display how much you know. I’ll definitely follow 😊
@iamxinmarie I don't need to do That because I am much older Than you and don't have to create Videos because I don't have idle Time like that to waste at all I can do all of that in my sleep I have did people's hair for little Of nothing and got great gratitude Blessings beyond you can ever Imagine and I'm not a social media Person crying for attention of people I don't know personally and this Is so elementary to me and I don't need people to follow me In my personal life I don't personally know and I don't put everything in my life on social media outlets because my Business and my life isn't for the world To see and know because I still believe In family value and morals Too many people believe Facebook and Instagram or boring and pointless Giviyour every movement in your life To strangers to be truthful about it I just happened to run across this video While watching something worth while Commented on it because I know Alot of personal facts and experiences That were already done years ago This isn't nothing new just cost Young girls way too much money For hair styling techniques that Were already done before you Was ever born

Hey!! I’m not sure what your hair needs but I do love Design Essentials Honey Creme Shampoo for moisture and Almond Butter Conditioner. I like Mizani Miracle Milk and Miracle Cream for leave in conditioning. But I do use a variety of products in the salon, these are just my highly recommended ones. @BubblySkittles14

Beautiful. Where are you located?
Thank you! I’m located in St. Louis, MO (Creve Coeur)
I so appreciate your honesty and your message,I want to wear my natural hair but I’m so insecure about the edges struggling to grow back and how thin it is in the middle of my head
Understandable! Maybe you should consider seeing a hair loss specialist if you haven’t already. They have products out for hair growth❤
omg your voice is so soothing
Thank you ♥️
Gorgeous hair!
@@TashaHughes Thank you!!
@ you’re welcome!
You are a real one! I have been preaching this for some time now and these stylist swear that extra length requires a $50+ up charge, it’s sickening! Even worse in the loc community, so I do my own locs
@@heymsparker2816 Yes, I’ve seen it and it doesn’t really make sense to me and I have a lot of clients with long hair. It’s the dense ones that take up the time and product!
Beautiful hair
Thank you so much ♥️
Makes sense. And you are very smart Ma'am
Thank you soo much!! ♥️
Beautiful
Thank you❤❤❤
Yes exactly😂
I just thought that I would share with yall, that if the edges on the left side of my head are not there when I take this supposed to be protective sewin hair do down in 1.5 months I’m going to take the stylist up on her offer to fight. I’m booking an appointment and letting her know what it’s for, she can keep the deposit if she so chooses but it’s coming with a medium order of “these hands”.
Girl, what 😂
Oh my….
Dusting at home should help. Just cut split ends and fairy knots as the appear. Do it once a month and you wont need a hair dresser to do it.
@@YeaNo. the problem with that is you can’t see your hair and the split ends the same way we see it. You also likely don’t have sharp, professional shears at home which don’t cause your hairs to bend and split even worse. I do this everyday and even I have another professional to cut my hair.
But she can end up right back where she started with the same hair length she had at the end of this video, year after year. We need to know how to prevent that.
@@hereforit2347 professional trims at least quarterly. I have a video on my page titled: If you don’t believe in regular trims, watch this!
Ce ne sont pas tous les cheveux qui supportent le lissage chimique (brésilien) et le défrisage. Un vrai professionnel devrait dire non après un diagnostic avant application du produit.
Healthy hair doesn't really need to be trimmed more than twice a year. If your hair is damaged it makes sense for trims to be often or to do one big cut to remove all damage. The biggest part of length retention isn't getting trims often, it's about learning your hair, how to keep it moisturized, how to handle it with care so you aren't putting it in a position to need frequent trims. Afro textured hair grows slower than other hair textures so frequent cuts will only keep you at the same length or make growth appear a lot slower since so many stylists can't properly assess whether the hair their cutting is even damaged or not. Those zero degree cuts across the back aren't to take off damage but to fit an aesthetic, hair naturally grows in layers so the back not appearing thick doesn't always mean it's thinning.
You make some valid points, but some people do need more frequent trims than others even if it's taken care of. It also depends on porosity, diet, genes etc.
How many clients have you serviced that get trims twice a year?
4 trims a year is standard minimum for my clients. I don’t consider that frequent per se, but regular. There are clients that get and need trims more often but twice per year would be considered a full hair cut in my professional experience.
True length retention starts with proper moisturizing. If your hair can't hold sebum it will break no matter what
If your hair is holding in to dead ends in will continue breaking. I do this everyday. Thank you 😊
@@iamxinmarie You’re both correct, lovelies.
@ I agree they are both factors but split and damaged hair isn’t going to hold moisture no matter what so removing that will give you a better chance of proper moisturizing, most definitely 💯
I doooo and i been shoulder length for 10 years!
Go ahead and get that haircut ♥️
It’s the same thing! So confusing 😞
What are you confused about?
