The Laws is the longest of Plato’s Dialogues and actually doesn’t feature Socrates at all - the principal figure taking the lead is the ‘Athenian Stranger’ who engages two older men in the discussion, Cleinias (from Crete) and Megillus (from Sparta).
The Dialogue is set in Crete, and the three men embark on a pilgrimage from Knossus to the cave of Dicte, where, legend reports, Zeus was born. С учётом того, что он и в Интерстелларе снимался, что не случайно, думаю да.
@@willofra на самом деле не факт, от него же не требовали сдать экзамен по теории струн, прежде чем получить роль, также как не требовали сдать экзамен по теории чёрных дыр, прежде чем дать роль в Интерстеллар. В Интерстеллар даже режиссёр опустил многие подробности которые подмечал физик консультант, а актёрам понимать концепции ещё менее важно, главное создать эмоциональный окрас.
Он участвовал в написании сценария.
@@ixoye_333 правда? В интервью он говорил что ему было интересно смотреть сериал так как многих событий он не помнил, не смотря на то что снимался. К тому же, даже если он помогал писать сценарий, то вряд-ли столь сложные его части.
@@mrzxccxz согласен, однако, в каких-то интервью он говорил, что вся эта тема ему близка и он погрузился в это и дал, сколько, смог от себя. Поэтому, мне кажется, что что-то он точно понял)

The TTS is markedly better than anything I've heard before--an amazing improvement--and the two voices used here are also remarkable. Where can I get? I looked at the IVONA site, but don't understand options.
Ivona TTS is clearly the best tts software on market. You can buy voices on partner site (it's only option). Here's the link on british voices (www.textaloud.com/englishbritish.shtml), but you can choose any other languages. Also there is another option ;) ruclips.net/video/7wYVZtoiRqo/видео.html As for using two voices - it was a little trick I did for my little pleasure. I used "Balabolka" text-to-speech free software, cut the text to paragraphs and read full text with two Ivona SAPI5 voices to mp3 files. Then I did mix mp3 files of two voices in rotation. So... that's all )
I have a used 1928 hardcover edition of this book, if anyone is interested.
