Poor chanmi, this is one of the reasons why idols shouldn't debut at such a young age.
It's different for all people. Eugene debuted at 16. Sohee, Sumni, Hayoung, Minzy were all 14-15. Debuting young is a blessing and curse. If you debut late, it shortens your career as most groups are done by their late 20s. Debuting young allows them to transition to other things while they are still "young".
Did anyone notice how seolhyun keep looking at chanmi like a worried sister? She always said how she felt sorry to her for not being able to be a good unnie bcs most of the time seol is the childish one. She mustve somehow felt apologetic at that time, actually the rest of the members must have felt the same. Loving AOA's bonds. U can tell they have special love for each other

Well I’m curious what show was it where Chanmi didn’t perform so I did a research. Their first win with Miniskirt was on 140209. If she said she ran away a day before a shoot for about a week, then that would be around 140210 to 140217. But I’ve checked every performances and fancam videos from 140210 to 140228 and Chanmi is in EVERY SINGLE PERFORMANCES including the event ones, not only music show performances. So? Anyone knows in what performances did she go missing? Because Short Hair didn’t get any win so it must be around Miniskirt promotions.
She ran away in the middle of short hair preparations. They were done with miniskirt at that time.

I think this for miniskirt. First week they promote full members than after that they promote 6 members without changmi.
