I wish I had had this one dress number one! Fab!! I. On dress number 3 and I already have new tips to use. Thank you
Thanks for the video! Do you have any others?
Thank you!!! Could you possibly do a tutorial on how to attach the bodice to the skirt, and maybe one on how to put in a zipper for the full length dress? Thank you!
Thank you! This was incredibly helpful. I always learn better when I can see the process demonstrated, as opposed to simply reading pattern directions.
This was unbelievably helpful. I am constructing for an adult dancer with real hips and small waist. The sample dress that I was attempting to mimic placed the kick pleats about 3/4 inch in front of the side seam. Can you give me an idea as to where the kick pleat should be placed? What material did you use to interface the frame with?
Great video on constructing the skirt. Most of the dancers I have worked with prefer a full length zipper which is great for putting/taking off the dress. If I can't get a zipper long enough I have added heavy duty velcro to close the bottom fo the skirt so it doesn't separate. You should do a video of attaching the skirt to the bodice as well. Making sure the skirt goes on straight and even on both sides affects how the skirt hangs and the overall look of the dress. I have had to correct a few dresses that had crooked skirts.
