I am so happy to see this video about Christopher Brooker he cut my hair when I was a student at Saint Martin's back in the 70s and never charged me I hope he gets my letter
Very crusade, Romanesque , Teutonic knights inspired line. I feel a sense of war and tribalism. Beautiful work.
Without doubt Christopher was the most creative and original hair designer of all for Vidal Sassoon. In the first decades of the company Christopher produced the highest percentage of new ideas that at the time were “ outside of the box.“ He was a haircutting Picasso, his designs amazed all of us who watched him work. You would get caught in the jet stream of ideas flowing out of him and be swept along in the joy of creativity and enthusiasm.
I love the darkness of the collection. Very misterious. It kinda reminds me of a roman war. What a statement.

All of these outfits are amazing, I like how Gareth comes out at the end wearing something so simple.
I have watched this video several times and Christopher still captivates me as much as he did in the 70's. I never did find out exactly why he left Sassoon but he did have a big impact on my career! Thank you Christopher for your passion.
