CRUZ are a 4-piece Indie-rock band from Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The band started with Sam, singer-songwriter and Tom, the lead guitarist, combining their memorable lyrics with catchy guitar riffs at their university house in 2020. Ethan and Jamie were then added later to the group completing the 4-piece. CRUZ take influence from iconic bands such as, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Courteeners as well as more recent bands from a newer era of indie-rock in DMAs, Sam Fender and Viola Beach. The band release their debut single called "Life of Misery" on 17 June 2022, which has been described as an upbeat, pure indie-joy single. Currently the band is recording more music and working towards their first album.
