The trouble with these trials is people don’t have time on their side to be the placebo receiver. Just give all volunteers the drug and you’ll know if it works or not!

I had CSF repair in 2022 . now I need all of my teeth pulled the repair was done behind the sinus right side. I have to teeth one a moler that is in the sinus and another beside it desperately needs to be taken out infected .but not even the best oral surgeon in my area will take these out I am I horrifying pain and I've already been through three antibiotics with this one tooth since September 2023 and now it is January 2024. Needless to say I feel like I'm on the verge of being septic. General dentist in oral surgeons in my area I have called I have paid it's almost like they are gaslighting me in order to take X-rays but then tell me they will not be able to help me. They took all my money for December I'm on disability to pay for X-rays and office visit and everyone I call either makes an appointment and then I find out a week or two later that they called me again either they having flu in the office and then they cancel it and then they make another one and make some excuse again to cancel it and keep me on the line hope somebody's going to pull I I'm very sick but don't know what I have told my doctor what about saying it's medically necessary and they seem to think that they are not entitled to say that when I know they are I feel like the intend to let me die.

So sorry to hear your story. My best suggestion in these situations is to go to the nearest major medical center/teaching hospital (one with a Medical School), one where they would have ENT skull base surgeons who would be able to help you with the reconstruction and repairs. Good luck to you.

From what I’ve found and discussed, this is currently an option, but the board is moving away from accepting non-neurology resident for neurocrit fellowships due to the complexity of neurological intensive care.

"Neurologists" are mostly fraudulent. They actually expect to fail most of the time. They LIE to suffering patients and feign competency when the truth is they really have no f'ing clue what's going on. They write off half their patients conditions as "idiopathic" because they are literally "idiots". They are nihilistic thieves, devoid of basic ethics or morality. They steal enormous sums of money from the taxpayers and other insurers to enrich hospital CEO'S and get their piece of the action. Those greedy CEOs openly admit they have to START these amoral md's at near 200K a yr at age 26 because none of them actually want to be there. Its not some "calling" or motivated by empathy. On the contrary, they have a deficit of empathy which allows them to lie, watch patients commit suicide and make money from that despicable process. Most of them belong in state prison.

I had been a patient of Dr Gummerlock. She did my initial surgery for biopsy. Had the second one at the NIH. Just recently learned that my tumor is back Doc. I'm just hoping the next surgeon is at least half as good as you Mike.

I live in Kentucky and would love to speak to someone face to face at first thought I had multiple sclerosis my disease keeps progressing now the symptoms don't come and go like they did after a real bad rectal surgery infection is what started all of that.

Dr. Oxley, incredible achievement, congratulations on your work! Thanks for your passion and contribution to humanity with this technology. I realize this is a single "stentrode" placed in a relatively larger vessel, superior sagittal sinus, and placed over the motor cortex for efferent motor signals. Hypothetically, I'm curious how adaptable this technology would be for the speech centers? Obviously, this would require multiple "sentrodes," in smaller vessels. Could speech data even be decoded and translated in a similar way?

My grandfather died from a brain tumor. One of his daughters, my Aunt, died from a brain tumor. My brother died of brain tumor, specifically, GBM. My late brother’s children, the rest of my brothers and I, along with many of our cousins, are participating in Gliogene, an international study looking into familial brain tumors. I really wish we could make some significant headway on a cure, or at least longer survival rates.

Hi! I have a suggestion to liquefy tumors/ lumps/ cancer cells. Keep eating papaya fruit everyday, don't stop . Papaya liquefies cancer cells or tumors that is why it is used as meat tenderizer. Cancer cells /tumors don't have mechanism for repair or heal, it is just uncontrolled growth. Papaya don't affect healthy cells. My teacher had 3 breast lumps and they disappeared because she ate papaya for 3 months, she told us in class. If you don't believe me, google papaya cure cancer. I'm hoping Papaya works for any uncontrolled growth. I hope you try, you have nothing to lose , just the lumps /tumor / cancer. My goal is to spread this advice to as many people with tumors/ cancer as i can because it saddens me to look at them. I hope my advice works

Why no collaborative discussion between Dr Linda Liau and Dr Keyoumars Ashkan on the quite obvious positive results from the DCVax-L 15 year clinical ? Two of the most notable neurosurgeons in the entire world , discussing glioblastoma and Mt Sinai has no interest in their collective thoughts.
