You When. Only You Trying. Fail Stop. is a piece for solo piano that is a cathartic ballad that is about losing a long battle. There are places where Victory is felt, but overall the feeling of losing and moving on are greater. This was not written first and then played, rather it was played first and transcribed afterwards. The example video is the only “take” that happened. All of the pauses and moments of change are happening chronologically as time moves in the room it was being performed in.
