Also the the penultimate line of the soprano solo. Egba r'Oghènè ro suen 'abade' neje. (The power of God which rules all the seas) Abade means sea It's not ... ro sue na bede neje.. (which doesn't make so much sense because it translates to ... who rules for all the forevers)
I think the people that did the medley did not get the right lyrics. So in the musical piece it is 'sue na bede neje' But the original song from where it was taken is actually 'suen abade neje'
Thank so much... Getting the right lyrics was really difficult, alot of consulting here and there. These points are noted though. 🙏🏾
Awvare se gba r'Oghènè gbu yo ta... It translates literally to 'We call the power of God as truth' but what it actually means is (We believe in the power of God). Esegbuyota means Faith which is to believe. A nice rendition though
