    I was born in devakkotai. Good to hear many recipes actually from chettinad. Mostly other people are saying the Chettinad recipe but it is not truely. You are doing the recipes as traditional as chettinad.

    Is this 1:1 ratio? Reason I am asking is the tumblers you showed looked like both rice and urad dhal qty looked sort of equal. Please let me know… I want to try this. Healthy food kitchen channel says 4 cups flour to 1-1/2 cups urad dhal. Will this difference in ratio change the texture of the murukku ?

      No,it is 1:3/4 or a little more if you want. I made yesterday,came out well.very tasty and crispy.
