Michael was a pretty popular woman's/girl's name in the 80's. There was another popular actress Michael Learned from the Walton's. I also have a good female friend named Michael. In France Michael is also a womans' name and Michelle is a mans' name. And if you think about it, Michael Steele is just badass name! Haha.
