Is there a program that does shapes that can be made actually measuring the sides so you can make better or shapes not included within design space.

I am just learning. I am making a landscape quilt which isn't perfect but it's not bad for my first one. I knew I had seen this method done before but didn't know what it was called. I just put in what I thought would work, and I found you, thank goodness. You are precise and to the point. Now tomorrow I can finish this. And start a new one of sea life with a big turtle as the focal underwater main dude. Lol thank you so much. I love your baby quilt.

😮I'm into landscape art quilts. I am using it for applique. Everything we buy for a hobby is pricey. But im into making my life easier and more ecologically friendly. From all I read it's way better for the environment. There're not chemicals involved. Just glue extruded to the thin stringy very flat stuff we can use to make way thinner appliques making our quilts much nicer to hang and look at too

until I have more confidence sewing, I will use this binding method. thanks for sharing it♥

Hello. I love your Quilt. I went ahead and ordered the panel to make this quilt for a friend. It won’t be quite this large. Hoping it will be a wall hanging. In any case, I am very knew to quilting, so I have lots of questions usually :)). So you said you cut each square 2 1/2”. The actual scrabble squares are not a perfect square so so I make sure the scrabble squares are 2 1/2” and discard the blue material completely? I was thinking to use the blue for the 1/4” seam. Sorry for all the questions. I just don’t want to fool this up. :)) thank you

I have a question. I have found a very old hand quilted top that my grandmother did many, many years ago. It’s very dirty, so first it needs cleaning. Should I hand wash it? Next I would like to finish it but I am unable to do fine handwork. So, what is your opinion of me finding a flexible fusing web, ironing on a bed sheet to her top? Any idea and help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you! I was going to round the corners of a wallhanging I'm working on & use bias tape in order to avoid the mitered corners. Your explanation convinced me to keep it square & use mitered corners.

So easy - and efficient. I always have at least 1" of backing leftover, so why cut more binding, fold, sew again, when I can just do this? Thanks for making it look so easy.

For me, the hardest part of quilting is the binding. Thank you for showing and explaining the process in such a clear way. I really appreciate that. After watching your video, I feel confident to go finish the Christmas tree skirt I'm making for my Son and Daughter-in-Law for Christmas.

I buy the big rolls each year when they go on sale (because it is a significant savings). I love this product. I also use it to baste my quilts. I cut in in 1/2 strips with my Stripology ruler and put about 3" between strips. I would NOT use full coverage as it is not needed and cost prohibitive. You can also get generic 1/4" fusible webbing strips and those work just as well. I baste on my design wall, and these strips adhere to the batting, and then I steam iron. Gravity works like an able quilt basting partner.

It’s so pointless the measurements Cricut uses on the hexagons. I hate design space. If Cricut would make a better program I would enjoy that machine so much more. Like your hexys could line up a lot better without the spaces.
