I just finished episode 23 and I am really having second thoughts if I am seeing it through the end, after seeing clips of what is going to transpire. Calling this anime/manga dark is an understatement.
its hard to watch but the way i think of it is not as an anime really (even thought it is) is more as this is guts life, this pain this fear is what he experiences first hand. Its fucking brutal even more so in the manga, but its his journey, his hellish, gut wrenching journey but i feel like there's something to learn from it. first experienced it when i was way to young to watch it let alone understand it but now i take stuff from it and its honestly helped me grow and mature in a weird way but its not pretty. and i agree its dark but to only call it that is not true, in a sense its real, not the actual demons and god hand and shit but the pain is something people have to go through everyday and what it gave me is a better understanding of it. and just a better understanding of how to be human because this is one of the very VERY few pieces of fantsy that show true humanity. but idk its a dark road but i feel like theres something you can learn from it and also its just really fucking cool. but TL:DR: its cool and you might be able to take something away from it. so yea there's my little rant that no one probably needed to hear lmao
