OMG my wife and I took our first trip to Ireland this past March, 2024. Our tour director announced we were stopping in Wesport. Doing a ton of research, and being a Chieftains fan. I knew where I had to go. We showed up and the front door was locked. We went around back and the door was open. We went in and took loads of pictures. Fearing the Garda was going to arrest us we left to the mail office. We came back and it was open. We had a couple of pints and walked around. Wow it was magical for me.

MP Walsh's is the 🐐. My cousin owns it. Couldn't meet a nicer man. His brother is bouncer on O Connells door. Another sound man.
