I'm considering buying one of these from AliExpress and I'm trying to make a decision is it actually worth getting as a first-time VR
I have seen the video on Oculus Quest 1 on RUclips app at 4k resultuon, looks astonishing, but I can't go higher than 4k, the cam can record 8k and 12k. It is like watching a 4k 3D camera sample. I think I am missing the full quality video sample, how can I view the full quality 6k and 12k on my vr? I want to see the actual photage quality on VR. And does the oculus quest 1 capable of viewing a 6k or 12k vr video ? Is there a method to view my recorded VR videos on oculus quest expect uploading them on RUclips then watch them on VR?
the only thing that kept me from buying one was how loud it is, thats too bad

Super funny idea. So rarely do we get chased in life as adults. 😂 It’s not something I would choose, but I love that we can simulate that now.. Love the channel! Keep going.. I’m not developing anything yet, but I have Nreal glasses and would be willing to try.. Would be fun to try on friends.. This simulator could go Viral on Ticktock with an AR spectator camera on a smartphone.. That would be hard!!
That is a good point, thankfully though I would say as I guess that's a good thing that being chased is rare. Thanks for the love of the channel. The team works super hard on every video. Once the app is finished it will be shared for free on the Nreal website and we'd love for you to be able to play it. (and great idea about spectator, it would be fun to see the zombie)
What pc specs do i need to be able view this in optimal resolution? I'd like to see or know the difference between viewing this in the oculus go (which i enjoyed viewing by the way and is the reason i'm here) and with the latest rift utilizing optimal comp specs. I saw this video on my oculus go and was very impressed.
Glad you enjoyed the video! Welcome here. You can upload the video files directly to a Quest 2 if you have one for a great viewing experience. To view with a PC VR headset, so long as your computer can play 8k Video you are fine. Most modern computers can handle this. You will just need a VR video player to run it. If the video doesn't run, make sure you have all the latest video codecs.
Hello, I got a LG version Nreal Light, I just follow the "Get Started with NRSDK" document to build 'Hello.apk' and installed to my OnePlus 8T, but when launching it, it shows "Error Code -5, Please connect your Nreal Glasses". I do connect my Nreal to my phone, and phone screen can be mirrored to Nreal. Does anyone have any clue of the root-cause of my problem?

I've tried all previous models and this is a huge improvement. I always thought the concept was cool, but I never wanted to actually own one until this current model.

That option to sit must be one of my favorite improvements that they made. Good overview btw, make me really want to replace the C1 I have with the new C2 :D
It might be worth replacing. I've used C1 and personally I feel it's a huge improvement.

I received a KATVR Loco s that was faulty or the software/hardware is very poor. Would not connect properly with Steam and when it occasionally connected, you had to lift your knees almost to you chin to get it to recognise a moment. Software has to be downloaded from kat vr site, and windows warn about it being unsecured. Total nightmare. Avoid save yourself time and money.
What are the black levels like?
nice video, but I do not know why when I press the controller doesn't turn green. It keeps changing from red to green.
Why is so faking expensive?... Wtf FROM 20k... is insane You can easily pair and shoot better videos from 2 professional CANONS using vr180 or fysheye objectives...

We think they will be going international one day. But there is no set date yet.
What is the editing software?
I couldn’t read their 8k/60 files on my high end computer. The format was not readable. I can handle normally all the latest format including h.265 / hevc up to 5.7k. (I had the vuze xr 180/360 camera) How to read their 8k60 and 12k30 ? I have ryzen 1800x and nvidia 1080ti. I will try again.

I am very sad that this video is SDR image without log function. I want you to show me the advantages of a full-frame camera. I want to see the vr video of High DR version. And I think it would have been better if the CA removal version was included.

So it's basically a Quest 2 clone for Chinese people, because they're not allowed to be on Facebook. Not bad.
Can you change the language to English?
You most certainly can. It has around 10 choices for languages currently.
@@fxg5172 I'm thinking of using them in china and take it back home (i.e. non china) when i leave china, does this work in overseas? assuming that i want to play in the US but with Chinese players? thank you
@@ak-ug7iy We haven't tried it outside of china though our guess is it will still work, though probably slowly as we are guessing there servers are china based.
things you you need to test with this VR headset: 1- thumb touch tracking in the controllers 2- in lens view of the resolution 3- wireless and wired gaming on pc compared to the q2 4- test the field of tracking for the controlers compared to the q2 5- try beat saber expert + to test how strong the tracking system (for fun) on pc or on the headset itself 6- test if there any glare on the lenses and how good or bad they are ps: not bad for first hands on vid dont stop posting ;)

OMG!!! 2 one-time batteries per controller... 2021 outside but they couldn't make the controller to be rechargeable???
2021 and you've never heard of rechargeable AA's?

@@volodymyr.fedorenko It's a controller, just like the quest 2 controller it uses AA's, which is convenient as will never have charging downtime, they also last really long on quest 2, so you only have to switch em about once a month
@@volodymyr.fedorenko I always have 4 AA batteries for my oculus touch(from rift s). When one pair runs out of battery, I take out the other 2 from charging and put the low ones to charge, it takes like 1 minute or less and i dont have to wait until my controllers "charge"

So the Pico G2 4k has 3840 x 2160 and the pico 3 has only 3664 x 1920 ??? Why step back?

My guess would be to keep the price similar while adding in 6dof controllers and a lot of other things.
It's a literally copy of the Quest2. Pico is a subsidiary of Goertek, and Goertek is the manufacturer Facebook uses to manufacture the Quest2. Thus, the hardware is literally the Quest2 (software differs). That being said, don't expect the Pico to step on the toes of Facebook, the markets will not overlap.
