Most folks don't realize the amount of time that goes into in investigation after a road side fail. Thanks to all WRPS and other officers that protect other road users from folks that have made the bad decision to drink and drive.
More videos like this! Love watching!
I heard a statistic from the ministry of transportation once that talking on a cell phone is worse than drinking and driving is this true ?

Do you know some days it irks me because I do not wanna have a beer when I am out and about I don’t even like to have them with my brother when he was living in Toronto I like to wait until I get back to my neighbourhood so that way I can you drinkAnd if I want to walk up to the bar which is five minutes away I can do so or if I want to zigzag over to my neighbours house I can do so because I know I do not have that far to go when my time is up to go home
Thank you WRPS and their families for all your hard work & sacrifice. Greatly appreciate all you people do for the Waterloo Region. ❤
❤
is waterloo region okay
We need more of these videos!!! I would watch on a weekly basis.
Great video, cool cinematography too.
This video is amazing. As a former Communicator, I can honestly say this is such a rewarding experience. Well done friends from COMMS
I called them several months ago at 4 am due to a terrifying experience while at work and the dispatcher was great while listening to me hysterically crying. Love our police service and all the professional positions associated with it. WE VALUE YOU!!!!
Our Rogers Lawful Access Team routinely work with WRPS 911 dispatchers. These guys are very professional and kind.
Working in a shelter, I call these people several times a week. I finally got to see the people I spoke to and I talked to. Just know that you guys are the best at responding to any emergency and handling the call with sensitivity, awareness and patience. How they channel and connect other people to get the right people to the right place for the right cause is so impressive. It's lovely seeing you all. You guys are the unsung heroes. Thanks for throwing light on these fighters off from the ground.
Now I want to be a 911 Dispatcher lol 😂
This was a great video. I was a trainee communicator with WRPS Bravo platoon in the winter ‘23 class - I met so many fabulous humans during my time in comms. Unfortunately, I personally couldn’t manage the effects of the stress on my body - like Russ said, you have to have a great level of self awareness and knowing your body. It’s such a difficult job and often goes unrecognized in the community - thank you for shedding a light on these awesome professionals!
This was really great. I wish I was younger...this would have been my dream job. Thanks & hugs to everyone at WRPS 911 services....GREATLY APPRECIATE ALL YOU PEOPLE DO.♥
Congratulations guys 👍

So amazing people,! Thank you a lot!
this is useful even tho I passed this test when I tested for Ottawa jail, going for OPP now and this was good resource to revisit to prepare.
Congrats, class 113!!
Love it! 😁😁😁
What a good looking group!! I totally see why they got hired.
I’m 40 what chance do I have?
Age comes with life experience! As long as you can pass the physical and psychological tests, then age is not an issue :)
I'm 44 and I'm seriously considering giving it a go! I spoke with an officer today; he just hired a candidate that is 54! You never know until you try and you've got nothing to lose, and a whole new life to gain!
🍿👮🏿♂️
Wow those are some good looking Recruits.
🎉

Watching you folks get silly is such a treat Have a safe and happy 2024
You police officers are the real heros. One time, many years ago, the WRPS saved my life. My neighbours back then heard me screaming and called. Two officers came and took me to a safe house. Sadly I was not able to see that I was a victim of abuse and returned to my home. It took an additional 2 years before I could accept that I was being abused and being abused by the one person who should have been protecting me. No one in my family knew because I was too humiliated for them to find out I was such a bad wife. For the last 30 years I have been in a happy and safe relationship. From the depths of my heart and soul, I thank you for what you did for me. You helped me turn my life around and to finally see that I was not the problem, my ex-husband was the one in the wrong. When I hear sirens going off now, I pray for all of you to return safely. I also pray for whoever you are on you way to help, that they know help is on the way.
All the best for a wonderful holiday season. I love seeing you having fun. Thank you for all you do for our community
😂😂😂 Best wishes for a Merry Christmas with your families and a safe 2024! 🎀🎄🎀Thank you all for the diligent work you do in keeping our community safe all year, and taking the time to make us laugh. 🥰🥰🥰
This is a truly beautiful ceremony. I was fortunate enough to attend one many years ago at the Police College, and it is something I will never forget.
I love you all. May each and every one of you have a safe, healthy and blessed Christmas. May 2024 bring us peace, understanding and acceptance.
