Don't let the fans spin while applying negative or positive force to them. Letting the fans spin when cleaning them with a vacuum is the worst combination and can damage them.

I got a refurbed legion laptop worked for two months, then overheated and turned off when i tried to boot it. Got it repaired then same thing again, except this time it completely fried the drive, but still boots thankfully, it's just completely bricked the laptop, so it seems like there are some major problems with certain models of legion laptops. I've still got it, as it may be fixable in the future, but for now it's not worth trying to repair it again, as it's so unreliable, I'm not willing to risk it.

First thing to do is disconnect the battery

Hey, im girl, and my legion was overheating as hell, i thought it was this issue, but i was scared to open it myself. I was searching for video and i saw many of them, but it doesn't made me sure i was capable of doing this. This video is incomplete cleaning. You cant remove all dust from fans such. You should dissasemble fans completely and see how much dust inside.
