For sale?
Maybe for the right price. It's the cleanest I've seen.
How do I lubricate the rear diff? The diff is fine I just want to do a PM on it because idk when it was lubricated last.
The early model like this one it's just manual disassembly and grease the gears. Later model runs gear oil.
I got a 1986 moto 4 yjm80, the final drive diff does not have a fill or drain plug, so how the heck do I change the fluid or grease it? I had read that the earlier ones did not have rear diff fluid but I don't like the fact it has absolutely no lubrication for the gears.
Right, yours need to be disassembled completely for a proper service. Differentials are neglected and often fails on these machines.
Who is driving that thing
Does anyone have the part numbers for the bearings?
What year is your machine?
My uncle had a, few one like that. Loved these cars
Those would be Mennonite
This is SICK!! We need to see it in action!
Looks amazing. What type of paint did you use?
Rustoleum high performance Enamel
that kick start sounded terrible
gotta love the champ!!
DO NOT SELL resorect it please
Cool bike
Nice I’ve got one. Very first trike we bought and the one I learned on. Also lead to our three wheeler collecting addiction
still hate it when noobs say "fully built" and its basically stock
The engine was blown up and been fully rebuilt. How is that stock?
Do you do restorations? If so, I would like you to restore my Yamaha QT50 engine and how much would it cost?
We could definitely do that for you. Parts and labor would be around $250-300
@@YamahaBros and where are you located?
Upstate NY. You can ship the engine UPS.
Please email us @ koltrida@gmail.com
Can you show the wiring to the voltage regulator and to the batter box
What's your height? In centimetres
I had a red one back in 2002. Unfortunately mine wasn't a turbo but i still loved that car. Mine was red too.
Where did you find the torque specs for the top end?
Hand tight and another 1/8 of a turn is good enough.
Where did u get it and what state you in?
Broo no puedo poner el resorte de la manivela, algun truco
Such a beautiful performance vehicle.I built a bunch of them back in early 2000's❤
Drive it daily!!
I’m needing a ring gear and the crown gear for an 85 do you know a good place to get them
Yikes! This happens alot with these quads. Unfortunately you cannot buy replacement gears. The best bet is to find another used rear-end from a parts machine. Good luck!
I put this brand on my 03 Kodiak and it feels like 2 basket balls on front. Bounces and beats the dog out of me while riding. What might cause that? 25x8x12 front 25x10x12 rear 8 psi
I would raise the air pressure and see what difference that makes.
Dude im stumped with mine, it starts and rides good but its so smokey and doesn’t idle for long (maybe like 5 seconds of idling before dying) should i get a new carb or clean and rebuild the one i have? Also, does your carb leak fuel out the copper lookin rod thing in the bottom of the carb and is that normal
I removed the oil injection and run premix fuel. You could have a carbon build up in the exhaust pipe, or running it too rich. The carb should not be leaking, they have Chinese pw80 carbs available cheap you could try that if your carb cannot be rebuilt.
@@YamahaBros it was running way too rich, i loosened to air screw a whole lot and now it idles and runs better. Thanks for the suggestions though. How much did those handlebars cost?
They are klx110 pro taper. Probably around $125
@@YamahaBros Ok
Where can I get the rebuilt kit for this specific motor? Thanks
Hitting the center of a bearing to insert it is the worst thing!! Sloppy job!!
We used a brass hammer on the outer race. No harm done and it looks beautiful. Sloppy comment
😂😂😂😂😂😂
The Amish around here hires drivers for themselves to take the places. As long as they’re not behind the wheel it’s all good. 🐎
I’m needing help with my wiring and can’t seem to find anyone close enough with a video of this bike
images.app.goo.gl/WUevrswvF1ciuKZs6 That is the wiring diagram. Very simple on this bike, let me know what questions you have.
@@YamahaBrosis this the exact one you used i seem to not have most of those color wires. Is there any way I could send you some videos of what I’m working with?
I could send you a picture of what I wrote down of what wires were on what and were they went I could shoot you my number if that would help
Do you have any videos of the wiring on this ?
Can you describe how to check for play to see if the axle nut is loosening?
It's all side to side play. The nut should be fully tight and there will be no play whatsoever. Then tighten the locknut to keep it from backing off. I check mine before every ride.
Why don't you tell us where you get parts? I'm struggling over here and you're getting all these parts . Also what kind of paint color etc...
What parts are you looking for!? I find everything I need on eBay!
Great vid, Bros!
Is this for sale? Location? Ty
For the right price maybe. In NY
@@YamahaBros is this awd? Can you shoot me the details of the car and do you have photos as well? I'm in ca
It's 1990 Laser RS FWD. Manley forged engine internals. One owner vehicle from Indiana. Very clean 100k miles on chassis.
could i buy it from you depending on the price
I got mine for about $250. No title tho sad😢
Hola tengo uña Yamaha champ 100 quiwro saber donde va el número de chasis te escribo desde lima peru
Okay
Trying to get our warehouse titan running but it just won’t run.. replaced literally all the major parts except a full wire harness.. we have run out of ideas for it. looking forward to this rebuild!
Thanks for watching, next video coming soon. With a name like @voltman56 you should be able to figure it out! Good luck!
Trump 2024
That tires were that?
Sunf 17x6x6
Where did you get your handlebar controls like where start button is or is it factory?
We used the originals after some touch up.
Starts at 2:17....
Great video, thanks. I do have a question. Does the crank bearing on the right side of the engine run in trans oil? I couldn't really tell in the video.
Thanks for watching. Crank bearings on most all 2 stroke engines are lubricated with the fuel/oil either premix or oil injected. Not part of the transmission or clutch oil.
@@YamahaBros Thank you for your prompt reply. I have several Puch mopeds, and the E50 engine does run the crank bearing in the oil for the centrifugal clutch on the right side of the engine. The crank seal is then placed inboard of the bearing. The crank bearing on the other end of the crank does indeed run in the fuel/oil mix. Just wondering if Yamaha did the same thing on the QT50. I have 4 yamahoppers, one engine needs crank bearings. Thank you again.
Can you tell me were to put my ground wire on my bike I can seem to find a video with exactly were it goes
It's grounded to a bolt that holds on the starter.
Street legal? How fast about 25MPH?
She hit 31mph! Not very fast but lots of fun.
I have never seen anyone beat a bearing in with a hammer like that. Always used a socket or pipe that fit the outer race to get even pressure on it. Other than that nice video.
Thanks, usually I press them in with an Arbor press, but I was at home and in this case used a Brass hammer and brass punch. They set with very little force, no harm done!
My neighbor as a kid got one sometime around 1994-ish... Maybe earlier. She brought it home and was excited about her brand new RED Plymouth LAZAH! With her Connecticut accent she kept saying "It's a LAZAH! It's a LAZAH! And it's LAZAH red like those LAZAHs at Walmart!"
Can't wait to start driving my LAZAH!
