This is the Shabbat Night Live show I listen to most Sabbaths as my mobility has me "Home Bound" at 72.. This is Michael Rood's Show called Shabbat Night Live. Michael is still recovering from a stroke while Scott Laird fills in for him. Jay Hilton speaks about The Last Great Day, which also brought up Armstrong's message when I was searching to find Jay's message, by the same name!

My Grandpa was a friend of Herbert W. Armstrong while he was still a minister there at the cog7. My grandpa encouraged him to start the radio Church of God and the WWCOG. Grandpa started a Church of God (7th day) in the upstairs of their house in Chetek, WI. Later it was moved to the Tillinghast area east of New Auburn, WI. We all listened to The World Tomorrow and read The Plain Truth Magazines from cover to cover. Grandpa still supported him all his life. It was a sad day when we heard what had become after Herbert's passing. But I'm happy every time I hear of similar Churches of God or the United Church of God. May his ministry still teach us all!

I'm surprised there are no comments. I was there for the 3rd session of this particular camp. It worked. I'm spiritually awake 40 years later as a result of that blessed experience. I remember many faces and names on here. This is the reason I will never, never, never, EVER GIVE UP on God's truth! I was in the measle session of Minnesota. Even some first names of campers I formed with popped into my mind watching this. 🫶🏼✌🏼😎 Don't let Satan thwart your future of God's Kingdom 🙋🏼‍♀️

Question? Can you explain Acts 10:39 KJV and Acts 5:30 KJV. It says he was Slew and Hung on a tree not nailed to a Cross. Other's say he was tied to a Pole. That's not what the Bible say's.

Is the Roman catholic removing the Roman from their name so that they can deceived the Christians? The Roman catholic and Constantine fool us for years by telling us that Jesus Christ died on good Friday and rose on Sunday. How can you get 3 days and 3 nights from Friday to Sunday? Easter is a pagan celebration and Christians get tied up in this false season also Christmas. The Jews can be tricked because most of them are partially blind - Romans 11:25 and don't accept Jesus Christ. The Jews day is from evening of 1 day to the evening of the other day so Jesus Christ was crucified on Wednesday(Passover which was the 14th of Nissan) and rose on Saturday(evening going into Sunday) which is the Feast of First Fruits. The week Christ was crucified had two Sabbaths which was the Thursday(Feast of Unleavened Bread) the 15th of Nissan and the Saturday. Christians please pray that God can open our eyes and come out from among them and touch not the unclean things.

I would like to point out that Jewish day starts at sunset and end at sunset. So passover is Wednesday, Wednesday's evening is the starting of Thursday (1 night and 1 day), follow day Thursday evening (Friday 2 nights 2 days) Friday Evening ( weekly Sabbath 3 nights 3 days) Jesus resurrection is Saturday evening which is Sunday ( The feast of first fruit)

Herbert W. Armstrong was a servant of Jesus Christ through whom Truth from the Father was revealed by Jesus Christ for the Church of these last days. He was like John the Baptist and Elisha in that he came in the spirit of Elijah to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just.

Ty I I love this song beautifully sung and beautiful music back ground. Mr Armstrong was a man of God . . He was called by God . To be a a spiritual Moses To lead a spiritual Israel. I am thankful that he was chosen by God.

So many wonderful memories of growing up in God's wonderful Church in His care and government. I never questioned the love of God. Always pointing to God as Head of everything. It truly was a blessed time. We all need to take heed of the times we are in because we have been taught and nothing should come as a surprise to us. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Nevermind what any other person says, those are human reasonings and have no place where God's truth is concerned. ✌️😎 go after it like nothing else exists because very soon, that is the exact truth
