1:18 omg these words are so formal and we don't use these in daily conversation. For eg 연기 we say "acting" only not अभिनय, I'd say try watching shows(like we watch kdrama) and listen to hindi speakers(maybe podcasts or there are many apps these days) U r learning hindi and I'm learning korean, i wish luck to both of us.

You are studying wrong history. I don't blame you for that, our textbooks are written like that. Sati was very very rare and forced sati is almost entirely a British concoction. And abolition of sati and widow remarriage is done by a Hindu brahmin Raja Ram Mohan Roy. It is in no way a religiously-sanctioned act as none of our scriptures mention anything like that. This logic is pushed by leftist, so called wokes and communists + southern communists and of course the British. The Aryan invasion theory, caste system and sati. These 3 topics they have. But when you counter their claims with facts they say you are right winged hindutvavadi. See my point was if sati was widely prevalent (which they claimed it to be) then most widows would have been burnt already. Thus there would be no existing widows in the society. If that's what happened, then what is the point of their remarriage. So either they weren't burnt and existed in the society or widow remarriage act makes no sense. Most Widows were just living normal lives with varying amount of social isolation.
