EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE. I WISH YOU RECORDED A CD OF THIS REGER CHORAL FANTASY & FUGUE ON THIS ORGAN. IT IS THE BEST PERFORMANCE AVAILABLE.

The final E in the pedal takes my breath away every time.
And only one 8 Harmonic flute. I still find it odd that large organs in the 50s-today will have no or only one 8 Harmonic flute on the manuals.

I always wonder how many organists use pedals on the first couple of pages, which Franck scored for manuals alone-and whether Franck himself did? (He may have just assumed any sensible organist would).
we didn't know until now that Franck himself had terribly large hands? think in his last months he wrote for music purpose, not for unsolvable five and six-part impossibilities.

The rhree chorales of César Franck are his last work. He ended them on his deadbed. Fortunately for us, life let him the time to complete the three of them. They atr probably the masterpiece of the organ literature in the XIXth century, including Mandelsshohn, Liszt, Saint Saens ans many others.
What a privilege to hear and to see this performance of one of the major works of Reger. This is You Tube at its very best!

Beautiful, next time, play this Choral on a Cavaillé Coll organ.
OK, but in the absence of a Cavaillé-Coll this Aeolian-Skinner sounds pretty good. The Voix humaine(?) doesn't have that proper hollow ring, though. I'd like to see the specification (I love reading organ specs!) Odd to have the Great as the bottom manual--is that an Aeolian-Skinner thing?

Louis-Nicolas Clérambault ( Paris 1676-1749 Paris ). Magnifique interprétation grandiose bravo.
Miss Ji - Very nicely done and in the old school tradition - No music for a solo performer. It is too bad you are in Florida and I am in Korea. You should be here to teach the people who want to be organists who it should be done instead of the mechanical performances by most of the organists here (German style). Yes!! By all means keep up the tradition and I certainly hope that you have learned all 12 of Franck's works. They are challenging but rewarding when mastered. Nicely done. Trust me that I am not often complimentary on performances as so many are poorly done.

Marvelous performance, Su-Ryeon. Thanks for the pedal window, too. You do all this without assistants (referring to Arjen Leistra's RUclips recordings). And now the Fugue, so clear and concise. Hall acoustics and instrument must be just right; Reger was so intellectual; how could organists properly present such material on instruments in halls with high lag time? Thanks for sharing this with us. Do you have CD's for sale?

Well played ! Everything about your performance was right ! Articulation tempi sense of direction of the music. As Reger's music is not exactly easy to play.

Stunning; I first heard on a 1965 (vinyl) recording of Sidney Campbell on the organ at 'The Queen's Free Chapel of St. George at Windsor' - but yours too is an excellent performance
