If you want to travel in school holidays book well ahead in advance to get better price in normal days it's not bad to book a couple of days before. Compare on direct ferries and on carriers website there are 3 carriers P&O, DFDS and Irish. The sequence is also my preference P&O Pioneer and P&O Liberté are best ferries in the market. Adress is always simple just search it in Google maps you'll reach easily. If still any questions don't hesitate to ask.

It will take time to get ready and it will be a tunnel of a different kind. This bridge is around 60 euros one side but of you pay a yearly fees 359 DKK or around 48 euros it will give you 60% discount and it will cost you 23 euros a trip one way. You can cancel membership anytime and still it will be cheaper if you travel once only. Ferries are too expensive if you want to drive to Norway or Sweden. I am not Briton but what i can tell you is that yes it looks apparently little better on the french side but when it comes to restaurants the Dover port has a burger king and costas at least whereas the french side has just useless vending machines without staff which deduct money for sure but you don't necessarily get your product. They also have a coffee shop above duty free. But ferry operators staff at Dover is more friendly than in France. They always give smaller gifts to children which i never experienced on the french side in last 10 years. These small things mean a lot if you have a longer journey behind or ahead. How it looks is not more important for me. As an EU citizen i also say that Brexit was a mistake i wouldn't have migrated to UK for better life it's for sure on EU side but not sure how long it will be as we also have same corrupt politicians who are liars as well.

You're right about coming checks after implementation of eta which will take even more time. Acknowledging the fact that French also deliberately cause delays here UKBA doing same on the other side will also cause suffering as flight can never be an alternative when you're travelling with family hope that new government will be able to find a way to avoid this by reaching another good Friday type of agreement. Well it's mostly motorway. I'd say you'll not find it difficult as London is always full of traffic so follow others.

Well not with others i travel 4 times in a year even with P&O it works perfectly fine which gets the worst rating because of their resignationd the only cause of delays now is time wasted by UKBA but not by other carriers. It's also such bad somedays that you don't get in that ferry for which you were checked in thanks to UKBA data entry operators typing with one finger only on oeak times. Let the ETA start from both sides it will get even worse.

Ich werde Empfehlen Waze zu herunterladen und da Vignetten hinzufügen, die man hat, damit vermeidet man zusätzliche Maut in Österreich und sieht noch mehr Bergen aber Achtung nur im Sommer wegen Schnee. Die werde ich auch hochladen.

Das ist genau an der Ausfahrt -Pfarrwerfen- rechts der Autobahn ist das Tennengebirge und links sind die Bayerischen Alpen oder Steinernes Meer. 👌

Well if 40 minutes before departure is late and you see others still waiting to embark, have fun and book with them. Or use experience of others and book better option such as dfds. Even P&O has a next connection in 90 minutes not after 3 hours.

Boris Johnson has nothing to do with me, thankfully, and I've never voted for him a) because I'm not a member of the Conservative Party b) because I'm not an MP and c) because I was never one of his constituents in either Henley or Uxbridge. When I did have the chance to vote for him as Mayor of London, I chose another candidate. Well as already said it's your choice but your comment explain very well that you haven't travelled frequently on this route as it's a normal check-in time for all other operators on this route. 40 minutes before departure and check-in never stops. I didn't experience it with any other operator before or after it. So I'll openly say it so that the people who want to avoid unnecessary delays can avoid them. In your opinion Dover queues should also self caused but actually it's a poor management wich is very rare on the French side. I guess your service industry is also Irish. But despite of London and UK voting your opposition party in next general elections world doesn't expect any change but still wish you all the best with Mr Starmer to rejoin after his 5 years conservatives campaigning for it😂.
