Cavitation refers to bubble coming off the prop. Not sure what these plates would do for that. Plates look like trim tabs that effectively lengthen the waterline and should help with porpoising.

How did the plates do? Been a year with no follow up

Move the engine back about 6” and you can also raise the motor up 2 inches and put a More pitch prop on.

Feels like it had not been troubleshooted enough before the additions. Crisp edge to transom?, Wrong angle on transom? Weight distribution? Wrong shaft engine? Feels like this kit rarely has porpoising when built... On rare occasion utility built boats have this. Tank near the rear? heck, I'd even say engine wedges could have solved the trim issue.
