do we ask our inner child for forgiveness, or do we forgive our inner child? ie) do i say "inner child, please forgive me" or "inner child, i forgive you"?

Thank you for posting ❤.. I did this the first time ever last week. And I didn't know I was going to have visuals of what seemed like another me but the darker me ???? Is that a thing ? Like a shadow. Wich is how I found this I typed in shadow. I'm familiar with reiki. And the emotion code. I rather this then the emotion code I noticed the physical release is more soothing. But also have you spoken on energy crisis? You know when the healing takes a little bit of a toll? What to do in that? thought I was going crazy because no one touches on that. And it took me a good min to figure it out. Massage , reiki, grounding , breathing into the pain of the area that hurts if a physical pain comes up. I've learned each part of the body is related to an emotion. If you release trauma it's the hips. Anger the knees. I also noticed when in the middle of healing when I get mad or stressed the body will also show a pain making me calm down in that moment . I noticed to is I'm more emotional during the time of release like days after. There's a lot to say here. I'm enjoying my self , finally now that I know and understand what the pains are. It scares me at first because I wasn't aware what was happening. And RUclips vid and books didn't tell me this. But now that I know I can help sooth the problem during my release and even more so understand what in releasing base apon the pain not the memory or visual that comes up.
