The Empower Hour with Don Wyckoff tune in live!
People are so mean sometimes, u don't deserve that hun 🫂❤
thank you
Reminds me of the old videos my grandfather made in 1998
Thank you. I enjoy these types of videos.
The world is too sensitive people need to stop being so soft. You’re a strong woman who had to go through a tragedy. 🫂
Ur so lucky to live around this place ❤❤
Wow, thank you for this video❤️. You’re very correct❤️
Just like the ancestors used to do it 👍
Indeed
I appreciated listening to the episodes of The Empower Hour on Spotify where Suzanne takes Don through the practical steps on trying to quit smoking. It was a pleasure to take you with me on my daily hikes in the Prescott National Forest, and listen to the progress you have made in not only trying to quit smoking, but to dive in a much deeper level to look at your own personal life by working through these steps to help you better understand yourself and why you are choosing to quit smoking. Suzanne is a dear friend of mine, and I also enjoyed hearing her story on the “Wounded Healer” episode before she took you through the steps. I have had the pleasure of hearing some of her story many years ago, and to hear her now and how far she has come is truly inspiring! It warms my heart to see where Suzanne is today and how she is working so hard every day on self-care, not only for her own personal growth, but to give back to others that need the support. And to hear her go through the steps with Don, her partner in life, is just too cute! I just want to pinch both of your cheeks now 😉. Thanks for taking me on this journey, and best wishes to you Don in your efforts to continue the “smoke free” lifestyle. It’s where the cool kids hang! 😎
I love you so much
If people only knew that you ACTUALLY practice these principles! You inspire me, lady!
Thank you ❤️

Lily, no longer in AZ?
Nope! Moved to the Catskill Mountains in NY State over 2 years ago and was vacationing with my boyfriend in North Carolina.
Hi, glad to know you are still there
Thank you lol
awesome!
Upsetting I can’t hear the song anymore. This video generates no money and credits the song writer/singer. Upsetting. Been here a decade and suddenly goes silent.
Have you been back lately? Wonderful video as well.
Not for years. I would like to get out that way again if I could one day.
@@CatskillLily I went last Halloween to Tonys Cabin thats out there, so spooky yet fun. Ever been? Do you have a contact email?
Wonderful video - nicely edited.. Terrific music. I searched YT for Buffalo Mountain having hiked up to the summit last Sunday. Beautiful region.
Ah, beautiful spring days. Hope you're doing well nowadays Lily!!
"peaceful, easy feeling"

Thank you
Looks very nice Lily! Did you move, or just visiting???
We were visiting family :)
Good! I am glad Arizona did not lose you! Good to see you post again!!!
Lily, I knew it wasn't Arizona! Hi!
As a Wilderness Ranger in the 90's I spent a lot of time enjoying this area. Bad side the Rock fire rings and trash but I tried to keep it in a natural state. Fond memories.
Beautiful
Marty is my first cousin. He gets his talents (of which there are many) from the other side of the family. He never ceases to amaze.
Marty, my cousin, is a master of 1,000 skills!
amaizing video of you and your Mom Lily
I came across your ' memory of mom ' while looking at some hiking possibility. Beautiful !!! I lost my mom 3 years ago on Mom's day. What was written at the end...I wish I could say only a small part of my soul n life could feel those words...but . I think the more pain the more love. An amalgamation of sorts
Tracy, thank you for your message, my heart to you on your loss.....yes, grief is a sign that we have loved and have been loved........what is life without........good thoughts to you.
Beautiful!
Lily, I am so sorry to hear what you have been through, but I am happy to see you stepping back in to the light. I lost my 13 year old son to suicide in 1998. I too nearly went over the edge in to the abyss. I made a decision to go the other way and live a life my son would be proud of if he is watching. I am so glad you are at the point where you can share your story and in doing so, help others. I am thinking all the best thoughts for you, and sending some love and strength you way.
Hi Bart. Thank you for sharing the loss of your son to suicide here. My heart goes out to you. I appreciate your kind words. Through the grace of God I've stepped back into the light and am moving towards happiness again and peace. Reaching out a hand for help was the first step to that kind of acceptance. I'm glad you also found a way to move forward and be happy. Thank you again.
I wish you all happiness and peace as you continue your journey.
Sue its late at night. One of many I wake and realize it's real. I watch this and it crushes me but it brings out who mom was and I love it.
Thank you big brother - I love you. Hugs xo
Lily, this is amazing....so beautiful
Absolutely gorgeous Lily! Fire in the sky!!!!
I SRLSY can't stop crying
I'm so sorry for your loss I'm only 14 and redoing this made me tear up I don't know what I would do without my mum😢 my wishes r with and and even typing this now tears r falling down my face😢 cruel world we live in we are all born to die I surpose
Hi Tom. Thank you for watching my memorial video for my mom. I'm sorry it made you feel sad, but I appreciate your wishes and kindness. You're very young and hopefully you'll have loads more years with your mum. It's lovely to read how much you appreciate her. Kind thoughts to you, and to your mum.
LilyAZ thank you so much Lilly
Oh Lily, as I watched the video and read the poem, the tears started to flow as I realized that this was a memorial to your Mom. I am sad for your loss, but I am happy for your Mother as she is free of her body and her soul is with God. You and your Mom have the same beautiful eyes. Although your Mother may be gone from this existence, she has left us the gift of you, and she will always be alive in your memories.
Lily,I am sad to learn this. I send my condolences to you and sympathy for your loss. It is a hard thing to deal with...I send energy to calm and strengthen your spirit...bless you
I have not yet made it to Sedona yet, so thank you so much for letting me see such a beautiful place through your lens! That is a very cool bridge! I hope all is well with you Lily!!!
Hi Bart! Hope all is well in your world too! You're welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Sedona is a magical place.
Bart, if you get there, consider the hike by this bridge (Midgely Bridge) - Wilson trail. It's a great hike. Parking is limited so an off day is best, and be sure to pay to park at the lot pay station.
Thanks for the information Lily, much appreciated!!!
Absolutely. If I can ever help with any Arizona hike info just let me know.
Going out next week. Nice looking drive
Wonderful time of year to go! Hope you enjoy the ride, stay safe. If you have time to hike any of the trails along the 89A they are so beautiful. There's a nice one by Midgley bridge if you can find a space to park (it's a small parking area). They have a pay to park station in the lot though so it's convenient to get the day pass there. A lovely trail goes around in a loop, first the canyon trail then the mountain trail and you can still see Midgley bridge in the distance most of the hike. Not the Huckaaby trail but the Wilson.
Hi William, did you go for a hike or drive? Hope you enjoyed if you made it up this way.
Aahh, wonderful : )
Hi so nice to see you! Glad you enjoyed.
What is the name of the trail you hike. I have been to this one but I cant remember the name of this trail in Clear Creek
Hi Cathie - I honestly don't know if it has a name. If it does, I've never seen it posted. There is a very old sign near the trail-head but there is absolutely nothing on the sign lol. The trail looks like it is really a mountain runoff that hikers have sort of made into a trail over time. Sorry I cannot be more helpful. It's reached from a series of Forest Roads off the 260 - not far from the 87 (Beeline) turn onto the 260.
do you know how i would get there coming from east mesa ? i tired to google it but no luck
Yes - take the 60 to the Beeline (87/Country Club) north to the 260. Turn left onto the 260, drive 3.1 miles. Then, turn right onto FR144 for 1.8 miles, turn left onto FR149 for 1.2 miles, turn right onto FR142 for 1 mile then left onto FR142E for 2.7 miles to a parking area. Trailhead is there. It's a rugged hike down a permanent stream through a forest canyon. There's some route finding, bushwhacking, boulder hopping, wading and possible swimming. Crawfish and trout clear as day around your feet. Waterproof EVERYTHING. Enjoy!
Wow!? Pineapple juice. Thanks I must try that.
It's so delicious! I hope you enjoy it. Marty makes the best beef jerky I've ever had. So great for long walks or hiking. We are hoping to get a homemade sauerkraut video done soon also. Very different than what we think of as kraut. Glad you enjoyed the video!
LilyAZ next week I will try got seven pounds of beef
Glad you were there to capture this, really fun to watch, thanks!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed!
Very nice kiss
