Give Me A Shout (Before We Go Out), Pioneer Approaches, Learning Disability Awareness Week
This was created by The Rumbles group.
It was based on a discussion about what a learning disability is and what things people like to do together.
It was a tribute to Wham's 'Wake Me Up Before You Go Go".
At the Rumble Awards 2024 we all wore Wham-style t-shirts with 'Choose Boogie' on the front.
Mina sang lead on this, with help from Robert.
Very many thanks to Square Pixel Productions for the video footage of the Rumble Awards 2024.
And many thanks also to Hertfordshire Community Foundation for the User Voice funding, some of which we used for meetings with members of the group to edit and put this film together for Learning Disability Awareness Week.

A reminder about The Rumble Awards (Hertfordshire's Learning Disability Personality of the Year Awards). Nomination advice delivered by Robo-Ali. Pioneer Approaches often use their Robo characters to interact with many of the people they support who don't feel comfortable in groups and who are isolated not just by Covid-19 but by mental health issues and complex disabilities and conditions.

Paul and Glen suggested a pie fight and everyone wanted to have one in the panto. We experimented with different 'recipes' until we got it right. Memories of Pants! The Pantomime Chris (Rosie) chose to create a dance inspired by Laurel and Hardy Created by The Pioneer Spirits Each person made up their character and story and the whole panto was put together to include everyone's ideas and highlight the value of being a good person.
