Vultures for Two Saxophones and Piano (Carter Pann)
I got this for solo and ensemble on euphonium
Beautiful
Why are you playing the beginning so quickly? Isn't it marked eighth note around 80 bpm? It is adagio and you are playing it closer to quarter note at 120 bpm
I played it this fast when j was first practicing and my director QUICKLY humbled me😭
Absolutely beautiful
How do u trill like that
I have solo this year and this is what I'm playing. I'm not even in high-school yet and playing this.
Love of my life piano
thank you, I used this as inspiration for my audition :) 🙏
What is your classical set-up? mouthpiece, ligature etc..
@@russelegler393 in that video I was playing on a Rousseau NC4, BG metal ligature, and a Légère Signature Series Reed. Probably a 3.5.
I’m torn from playing this or Henri Eccles for my solo ensemble 😭😭 they’re both such pretty but fun pieces. Any recommendations? (I’m a freshman)
I’ve played through henri Eccles, I def think it’s harder on the fingers, but I do think the 3rd or second movement is a lot of fun
@MB-pn6ol okay thank you so much!!
tysm for this video! i chose this song for my igsma audition, and this helped a lot , and showed what tempo I shld use! thanks again <3
Hello, do you have the piano score for this piece
Freaking magical
Brilliant !❤❤❤❤
Hi I like
4:20 8:30
Helped a lot appreciate it
What was the metronome at do you know?
115
Buitiful trills
Amazing
Wow !! You also play the flute very well.
Onde eu encontro essa partitura?
So, how many instruments do you play? Tell me please.
All five of the woodwind instruments :)
Much too fast!
Nice
could you please teach me sax
Fascinating performance! So many ideas I didn't think of at your fingertips. Thank you so much, Dr. Sarah Dunbar!
this solo is hell
freaking masterpiece
Nicely done. I played that for competition back in 9th and 10th grade forty some years ago. We played more briskly and more staccato. I think I like your more legato style too.
3 years later and still love this piece. Listening to this piece has been super helpful as I learned this on my flute. Love the emotion you and the pianist put into this solo 😊
So beautiful! I’m learning this as 1 of my solos! So helpful!❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
Your recent videos are good. With some strategic editing. They have the potential to attract wider audience and generate more engagement
Great piece
Hi Sara, I'm interested by the Syos mouth piece (the model which is under your name 😁). I'm learning saxophone since 7 years, I'm in the second cycle of my school of music playing classical and jazz, for classical play, syos proposed me any aperture of 5*. What do you think? Thanks in advance for your advice
@@alaingarsia3628 I love mine! I hope you like it too!
Sounds great to me.
The TV show was so good....but the music was fantastic....
This sounds better on bari.
I recognize that tan brick wall! That’s in the COM building at UNT. Sick flute skills.
Fantastic Superb Amazing Incredible And So Beautiful !
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very well done, Jaci! I'm really looking forward to playing chamber music with you & getting to know you! I listened to your recital before , but just now put on a comment.
Excelent
I love this song! I heard today on the radio qhile driving to work its 9.09 FM in Washington DC in va
Awesome.
Very hard watch
ima lie this is fire🔥🔥🔥🔥
RIP didn’t hit that last altissimo note 😢
❤
jazz tone?
Yep, that's how it's written in the music as Creston wanted it.
@@dlharp2 definitely not lol.. listen to mcallister. but if the performer is a jazz major who chose to try a classical piece, then i can respect it.
@@imauz1127 are you a music major?
@@dlharp2 double major in math and musp in saxophone, so yes
@@imauz1127 phew, well make sure you defend all your teachers like you do your many opportunities. Have fun too!
