Hinges should be set 6ins from the top 9ins from the bottom then 1 in the centre of the 2

I find tracksaw 1-2mm off the line and planing to the line with a bevel taking out back edge gets the crispiest scribs.. never used a panel saw to do it as I don’t own one but I’d love to give it a crack.. I reckon still gotta fine tune it with a planer though

Once youve been in trade long enough you start to realise how much easier life is with clean boxes and tools. You can put them straight down on any surface in a customers house now worries and you never ever have to spend half a day tidying the van again because its always clean. Takes an extra 10-15 minutes daily. Worth hours imo!

Have you tried just ripping em by hand with a sharp panel saw? I tried it like this with a jiggy, and find it faster and easier to put a nice back taper on the edge with a hand saw.
