i wonder why DD makes the RIS2 anodized sometimes and cerakote other times. i have a mk18 and the rail is dull and clearly cerakote. I used to have an m4a1 and the rail looked like this vid, anodized. anodized looks sickkkkk

My setup was similar to this from experience I would def recommend a velcro cover I used to drive a 2015 4Runner and in 2017 a street racer hit my truck from the side while I was parked at work when I came out the office all my stuff ended up all over the place I ended up loosing a leatherman and pistol mag, but it could’ve been worse. Fast forward to Jan 2022 I was driving to Montana in my sisters 2020 XT4 caddy and I loaded up my gear this time with a Velcro cover my brother in law had gifted me It’s like a thick black blanket holds tuff but also has a quick release it even blends in when you look at it through the outside window! Thank god I had it I was driving through a snowy Utah and a F150 slid on to the opposite Lane pushing me off the road and I ended up rolling over twice. Luckily that Velcro cover held all my gear and firearms together. After I checked my health I got out saw most of the windows shattered and was nervous I was going to be missing some of my stuff luckily Velcro strapped everything down and only thing needed replacing was my sisters suv haha

Polishing sear surfaces is removing metal. Was always taught. Don’t alter sear surfaces.

I use a slave pin when i put the trigger and disconnector together then push the pin in. Easy peasy.

Something to point out is the "slop" in the buffer weights is intentional. It is meant to eliminate the chance of your bolt bouncing out of battery after the buffer hits the bolt carrier home. Same way why dead blow hammer works. You can have a solid weight and not have bolt bounce, but the slop ensures you'll never have that problem in a 5.56 AR.

Mine was locked under my truck seat. It was all stollen in 3 minutes.

What suppressor wrap?

Just came across the video. Sounds like a fun idea and I want to try it. Any idea how it might affect a cmmg 22lr conversion kit? I frequently shoot with 22lr due to how cheap it is, but don’t know how this mod might affect the way the trigger interacts with the BCG of the conversion kit. Might have to just try this mod and keep a spare milspec trigger handy for shooting with 22lr if it doesn’t work. I’ll report back eventually if nobody knows. Nice tutorial.
