I've been trying to export my artwork from fresco to illustrator but it would always rasterize the file and merge it into one layer when I export. a fix for this is to not have any clipping mask layers visible on your fresco file. For some reason this triggers the export to pixelate your artwork!

When I opened the Pdf saved out of Fresco in the new Ai document, I wasn’t able to select individual layers. What did I do wrong?

How do you copy the artwork from the PDF to the new document. You didn’t show that part.
