I wish i could find the other one very similar to this i watched earlier on in my trip down this rabbit hole. She didn't want to tell her man she was pregnant and she had a friend who was on the chunky side and a real big mouth and had a boyfriend she was always smacking around for his love of some sandwich or something ???? This one is adorable but so inappropriately titled!!!

Spoiler alert: One thing I can't figure out--wouldn't everybody have known that Ralph's wife and Julia were two different people? And if he killed his wife and put her in the ocean, she would be declared "missing"; so why would they need Julia's body to bury? Am I missing something?

"How do you feel" " Alright" Knowing look" how do you feel when you feel bad" I am absolutely shoving that in my arsenal for when trying to support those friends who don't like to open up or ask for help. What a wonderful character, and a beautiful friendship between these two women

Only praise will do. This film is decades ahead of itself, twisted and jaded and frightening. Sydney gave the best performance of her career. The narrative and plot will leave you breathless, once you see no Hollywood film had been as ruthlessly, brutally, been so honest, destroying the pretenses of Critical Race Theory along the way. Here is a triumph and a small masterpiece along your way.

@lucindamoran8686 Right?! I recently came across a photo of my maternal grandmother born 1918 with the waved hairstyle that stayed constant thru the 20-40's, a style I didn't realize wasn't always as short as they appear.

@BlakeGildaphish76 Those spinning circles on the floor? I don't know but it looked crazy and I've never seen them anywhere before. On another movie of unknown title, I saw the actors trying to kind of run thru what appeared to be huge spinning wooden open ended barrels. 😂

A couple years ago I happened across the Blu Ray of this movie at the library and borrowed it, thinking the premise was interesting. I got mildly obsessed with it and even sought out the book it was based on (the title Bad Girl makes much more sense in the book) and read it twice. (Find it on the Internet Archive!) I can’t fully explain why but I just love this movie. Thank you for sharing it here!

The plot evolved a bit like The Gift of the Magi and had so many great lines that i had to save it to watch again and again. What a restored treasure!! The bride's maids gowns were perfect and made me want to remarry in my old age.
