Is the IR pass filter what you need to see the grayness of it? So far all I have gotten is an orangish color with a black moon filter

Because the gso only have 2 elements but the svbony one have 4 elements coated

I think the svbony one is a tiny bit better because it dosent give chromatic abboration and has generally better optics because it can see mimas

How did you image Mercury and Venus? It seems that no matter what time of year I image either they are far too bright.

I've have more or less the same equipment! When capturing do you still guide the tube following the planet or you allow it to drift from side to side? At high magnifications planet runs from side to side very fast
