This comment honestly makes me wish they added permanent ways to make things harder for you with some kind of payoff in return, modifiers like more enemy spawns, making danger more common, a chance to not get any chips in a floor, etc... Monochrome is probably doable using filters, just don't fully know how to do it

I enabled membux increase to max without spending anything, you only get a few extra prlz at the end so I figured "why not" you know

Someone in the chat actually pointed out how I wasn't using my sub all that much during one of my runs, so I was aware. I even mentioned it briefly at 6:18 during this run.. I don't know why I don't think about my sub and I only neglect it in Side Order weirdly enough..

Well there is one you see every time you boot up the game so..

While I do agree that the kit is OP especially to start with.. Side Order was designed with hack/chip upgrades in mind, so having only 6 chips makes the last 10 floors heavily challenging. Even in floors 11-20, there are some that can be a bit tough as demonstrated in the run.. will go into a lot more detail in my next video!

I will point out that sound wave damage up does affect the sound waves that Pearl sends out when you complete a disk. Not a GREAT upgrade if you don’t have a special or other upgrades that synergize with it, but it’s *technically* only TOTALLY useless on stages with no drone or no item drops.

@@IONATVS that is actually interesting, never knew or thought about that! Sadly I have never made a full disk in the entire run lol

That is true yeah, there are 5 buttons max in this game with 2 player mode but hopefully people get there!

Another route that could be interesting is the momentum based Gameplay, like in celeste, in fact, most of the tech in celeste can be replicated with dsdh orbs, soo let's see how platformer difuculty envolves
