Добавлен 28 янв 2021
Hi! My name is Allison. I am a pagan and it took a while to be able to say. I created this RUclips channel to be able to connect with other pagans, and share my own knowledge and practices of the faith. Join me as our community continues to grow while more and more pagans put themselves out there. Skal!

Hi hello! My name is Allison and I couldn't think of a better way of coming out as a Pagan than reaching out to the community and sharing knowledge with like-minded individuals! If you're interested in getting started in this faith stick around. I'll be uploading educational and slightly entertaining videos on what I know about paganism, personal stories and more. Enjoy this awkward introduction!
Frigg and Freyja were both recorded bejng present in the story of Lokasenna. Different deities.
Thank you Allison. This was remarkable because I've experienced much the same recently. Falcons and Freya! I've converted to Norse Paganism (from a whacky "worship aliens" religion) and uncovering this video was random chance, the will of the Gods, or AI algorithms. Or any combination of the above. I wish you well.
1:35 happens a lot
If ur working with the runes call on Odin ❤
kinda unrelated but as a major bird nerd i think a hawk just sitting there in front of me would be so fucking cool my friends would get real tired of hearing about it 😅
Hi from Cali 👋🏼 . Thank you for sharing this interesting and insightful video about the Goddess Freyja and your own experiences with her. I could certainly relate to some of what you said. Also, about how She appears to me, in a dream I had, she showed up as a bright, shiny feminine figure surrounded by light, holding a spear, and with fiery red hawks circling around her. Stay blessed and be well 🙏🏽.
Literally none anywhere near me 😢
Just to let you know as far as I know freyr is female and frey is male!??? Correct me if im. Wrong thank you....Stephen from england...🙏💚🌱
Freyja is the female counterpart and Freyr is the male counterpart

The hawk appearing sounds amazing! . If you want to work with Runes its Odin that brought forth the Runes hanging on the tree of Yggdrasil. There are also a meditation videos for each rune on you tube. The riddle or rune poem for each rune is in the Havamal.
Hail the Aesir and the Vanir!
I’ve been having a hard time dealing with the fact that I’m gonna be doing the traditions of Yule alone. And it makes me really upset because I’ve asked people close to me who aren’t pagan but it just sucks😢
Freya goddes of 💛💛💛
My Goddess is. The most buetiful Goddess
Freyja rules
I have had occurrences with Freyja on and off for a few years now. She first appeared to me as a type of alien looking thing (I honestly have no clue what that meant) but it was so calming. The second time she appeared as a women who was beautiful but had the same faults in appearance I do. I believe the message was that everybody is beautiful and the way I view myself was not ok (I was extremely depressed). The other times I did not see her but felt her. The first goddess I have worshiped and one of my favorite!
Frejya has been always following me it seems. I once was meditating in front of a little shrine I had outside and it was spring so there was no snow. I heard someone walking behind me in that crunch crunch of feet it snow. I felt her presence near. Later, while meditating on this I saw a shadow in my minds eye in the typical representation of a Valkyrie. I do medieval combat ( not LARP ) and I lost a rather nice piece of adornment on my kit and I resigned myself to having it be a sacrifice to the Gods. As soon as I made that statement, I turned and my eyes immediately fell on a raptor feather on the ground.
I'm new to working with Freyja. Freyja makes me feel affirmed in my gender. I am a better drag queen and womxn for working with her.
I just watched a stj video on how Freya may have been Ostara, connecting Freyr to Easter Ostara celebration makes sense, maybe Ingvi Freyr's sister was called Ostara Freya?
How have you been
What a lovely video - You certainly have met Freyja! Of all the videos on Freyja Freya Freja on RUclips, this one strikes me as the most meaningful or knowledgeable one - and perhaps it's not so strange that Freyja manifests herself as a presence in your life, rather than a vision. She can take almost all human forms that she would want to assume - and she could come in the form of a boar, owl, falcon, hawk or even cat also. Hope to meet you on Folkvang's plains some day - and its so great, and very inspirational to see how Freyja can influence all our lives for the better..
Iv never talked to them iv had Odin show in a dream but I found my runes and when I was listening to meditation I felt motherly presence
I have always seen Freyja with long, curly auburn hair. Her face is covered in freckles, which only add to her beauty. And, her eyes are a crystal clear green-blue -- they can be as gentle and comforting as perfect pools of water, or as hard and impenetrable as stone (when righteously furious.) Her smile is dazzling and quick, and makes you KNOW that you will be okay.
Hello from (old England). I really enjoyed this. I'm an Anglo Saxon pagan so the names I use are a little different (Woden for Odin, Thunor for Thor, Tiw for Tyr). Very glad I found this video on Freyja's day! I view her as a shield maiden, with winged helmet, spear, and amber eyes. Like you I don't have a patron; I don't think our gods wanted to be worshiped but rather we should honour them with our actions. Thank you. Happily subscribed.
Thank you!
Awesome! Sweet & simple. Thanks for sharing. 👍
What was that song in the background ? <3
Thanks Allison 👍. Another great video
Great video 😌 thank you!
Wow. Just in your first few sentences, you described almost exactly my story. My whole life I would have said I was an atheist just to put some kind of name to it. My mom was very christian (baptist I think), and my dad had no view point on religion at all. As I got older I realized that most of the worlds conflict was caused by religion. But in the past few months I have had this pull to Freyja, and it has grown. I have not seen signs or had any "visits" from her but something in me is drawn to her. So your story is very inspiring to me. I see it's been a while since you've put out content but I think it would be awesome to hear more of your story 😀.
😍
A very good and engaging video, I like your sense of humor and how it bleeds through into the video.
Thank you :)
Hail Freyr: sunshine, ☔️ rains, Freyr (Old Norse: 'Lord'), sometimes anglicized as Frey, is a widely attested god in Norse mythology, associated with sacral kingship, fertility, peace, prosperity, and virility, with sunshine and fair weather, and with good harvest. Another FREYR “Freyr” by Johannes Gehrts (1901) Freyr (pronounced “FREY-ur;” Old Norse Freyr, “Lord;” sometimes anglicized as “Frey”) is a god who belongs to the Vanir tribe of deities. He’s also an honorary member of the other tribe of Norse gods, the Aesir, having arrived in their fortress, Asgard, as a hostage at the closing of the Aesir-Vanir War. Freyr was one of the most widely and passionately venerated divinities amongst the heathen Norse and other Germanic peoples. One Old Norse poem calls him “the foremost of the gods” and “hated by none.”[1] The reasons for this aren’t hard to understand; their well-being and prosperity depended on his benevolence, which particularly manifested itself in sexual and ecological fertility, bountiful harvests, wealth, and peace. His role in providing health and abundance was often symbolized by his fylgja, the boar Gullinborsti (“Golden-Bristled”),[2] and by his enormous, erect phallus.[3]
Thanks you for sharing your great nature space and ideas.
I like how you express your learning and sharing your spiritual path, I'll have to subscribe.
I like your take on not having a patron. It makes sense that the Aesir and Vanir in their entirety offer so much to learn about ourselves.
Norse Gothic here.... Great info! Thank you for sharing with others. - Talvi🦉🌻
Such a lovely video, I particularly like the cleansing water ritual by the stream it looked so calming and connected.
It's truly hard finding anyone who connect with on the Norse Pagan religion. I've grown accustomed to keeping it to myself these days...it sucks
all wrong, its just in your head
Very interesting and well presented video. You have a way with words. And also such a calming voice. Was a pleasure to listen to. Keep up the amazing work! 😉 🌹
Thank you :)
I knew absolutely nothing about Freyja whatsoever. Every time I thought of her I always had an odd but profound feeling of butterflies in my stomach. I was sitting there just a few moments ago and thought of her again. The same butterflies filled my stomach and It felt like the feeling I got when looking at my crush. I proceeded to tell myself "I bet you she is the god of love." I then looked her up and was met with the stunning reality that she is the god of love in norse mythology. This is just one small example of my many recent norse awakenings. The Gods are real.
Thank you for sharing!
I’ve been working primarily with Freyja for over a year now from an eclectic Wiccan perspective. Just like you described, she’s incredibly loud and intense, demands your attention. In my experience, she does NOT take any form of disrespect and will put me in my place, but more often than not she comes to me with a motherly, warrioress strength, like a great cat or a bird of prey. I see her physically in the form of the hawks and falcons that fly overhead all over where I live, and in the feral cats that show up in my neighborhood. I also associate her with yellow flowers, and have had multiple people tell me that they’ve seen yellow flowers pop up in new places immediately after hearing me talk about Freyja. In my meditations, she comes sometimes in the form of a dark purple mist, in rays of moonlight, or in the form of either a tall blonde Norse woman or as an African woman (like Angella Summer Namubiru, if you’ve seen her). To me her energy is intense, warm, heavy, and very energizing.
I see her as powerful and energetic as well. She is tough. But I've also seen a sweet, nurturing, and playful side to her as well. I associate her with roses. She is beautiful and has a softness to her but she also has thorns. ❤
Love your ancestor alter. Looks peaceful.
Personally whenever I give to freyja I usually give fruit or vegetables I just think she's more of a god who would appreciate fresh produce
That sounds like such an amazing experience
I think the taboo nature of sexuality for men and women comes from the abrahamic religions, not to insult christians or anything like that. Abrahamic religions tell you your natural inclinations are something you should feel shame in, which is why you have insane, twisted practices like genital mutilation for men and women. There's the one extreme of hedonism, the other extreme of abrahamism, and the pragmatic, relatively relaxed position found in folk religions.
Thank you for making this video. I am in Wisconsin, and I am new to the Norse Path. This was very informative and helpful!
Thank you for your feedback :)
Yes. Nice to meet you I’m in Minneapolis area.
